One thing worth going into is the tests adaptive format. Similar to the NCLEX for nurses, the SAT will have a section to gauge how high you would score, and in the following section will give you easier or harder questions depending on your performance. Score high, get harder questions, score low, get easier questions. I had the privilege of taking a pilot digital SAT and the adaptive format was the BIGGEST difference in my opinion.
Hi @CollegeVine Will the results of digital SAT be mailed to us since there is a section for mailing address in which we are supposed to give ZIP code and address? Alternatively, can the online score reports be used in college application, are they legit and recognized by universities (online score reports)? Does digital SAT give any weight to college application and being accepted? Thanks in advance!
Thx for the great video! Could I ask a question~in some places SAT and ACT are not available due to strict rules against COVID-19, while for students applying to colleges that emphasize academics, is it necessarily a disadvantage? Can excellent school grades make up for that? Thx!
Hi! Most colleges are still test-optional for this admissions cycle, so it shouldn't be a disadvantage if you can't take the test. Any bonus you might get could be made up for with a high GPA. I'd check out the policies of each school you're applying for to see if this is an issue.
