Many people have noted Hopsin and Tech's deference to NF's avoidance of cursing, which is admirable. However, I do think we need to also acknowledge how Nate reciprocates this respect by adopting his guests' respective styles, setting them up so well to bring the house down. He's an excellent host to featured artists.
@@eliasvasquez5817 I never said anything about him going against eminem 🤔 I'm an eminem fan too so if your going to comment please understand what I actually said.
I’m one of the people you were talking about. I love NF because I am a Christian who has a family and want to share my passions with my kids. I grew up on hip hop but wouldn’t listen to it because I didn’t want my kids listening to it. NF has the sound I love and lyrics I can share with my kids.
Dont know if you've heard of KJ-52 he's an old Christian rapper. It's been years since I've listened to him but thought I'd throw it out there as another option.
I love your reactions bro. On point, honest, I feel even a work of art. I really hope NF gets to watch your reactions cause I think he'd appreciate them.
Damn... NF always has very subtle references to his older tracks- Think about this- Nate is saying that the devil won’t leave him alone and that he will basically send demons to torment Nate. Who do we know that does that in his other songs? That’s right- fear! If you know the story that goes throughout NFS music you will know that he references fear all throughout his music. Towards the end of the journey so far in intro III, he says that he buried fear so it doesn’t get to him anymore, and in this song he mentions that he’s letting it get mad since he’s not letting fear (in this case the devil) get to him. He also references the room that fear is in, etc. So basically all of the fear/burdens that he has had throughout his life was sent by the devil. That’s deep.
Can't wait for the STORY reaction, It blew me away completely! I listened to it without the music video first which IMO was a great find as I could visualise the story he's telling myself. Really felt like that made me 'feel' the song more. It also emphasizes how good the story telling in the song is. This also resulted in giving me very simmilar vibes to Intro III as that also tells a story without a video. I'd say it's worth to listen to just the audio alone at first, but it's up to you. The video is incredible too, you just lose the imagination bit which is an incredible feat to add to music.
I feel like anytime Tech N9ne raps he holds back depending on the ft. He gives them more so the spotlight. I feel like this is one of those tracks where had to show why is is one of the GOATS
Mercy! This was AWESOME! I don't know what I was expecting...but this wasn't IT! LOL The opening dichotmey of the violins; that was a great set-up for what followed. Wow! Was NF snappin', or WHAT! This is my first introduction to Tech N9ne. I was impressed, although, I agree that his lines didn't seem to be in keeping with the 'Trust' theme. But I'm gonna' go back and listen again, and check out the lyrics. I could be wrong. WONDERFUL new song! LOVE it! And your reaction was fabulous, as always!
Man this is why I LOVE your reactions I've listed to his mixtape all day and didn't make that intro 2 connection until you just pointed it out and it makes SO much sense! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tech9's protagonistic character in this song reminds me of the character Ludacris played in the movie "Gamer." en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamer_(2009_film)
Im sorry, huge NF fan for like ever.... that being said I watched several reactions to this song, when I watched your reaction I was super distracted by your accent lo in a good way tho lmao no cap.
Futuristic has looked out for NF. They did a song a while while back and it’s dope and he brought tech to a show in 2018 and set hopsin up with NF the same year. Makes me happy. Futuristic has been a solid friend to Nate over the years. Good dude.
chorus says "count on one hand that i trust". the new merch is a picture of his hand on it. so the way i see it is he counts on himself he has trust with his own ability. so i think the title trust is just believing in oneself to perform and keep it up. so techs verse does make perfect sense imo.
Honestly, after listening to this album several times through, I think my favorite track was Drifting. It’s just so different from most anything he’s done, but still a very emotional song. Can’t wait to see you react to more from The Search and Clouds!!!
Techs line that ends “they’re quoting that I’m closing it up” (might be a reach) but for years techs said he will stop within these years we’re in now and he’s still going on
i thought the same with the intro 2 connection. but one thing barely no one catched is that, basicly nf explained in "no name" and "leave me alone" that the devil who calls him is a methaphor for fame(the industry) so when he said the devil is calling trying to flirt, it wwas a double the religious devil(his burdens) and the industry trying to get him to become mainstream, but he said no to booth and didnt wwanna hear anything. but now hes having a sit, wwhich means he tells them about hisopinions, and they will regret they even called. also he droped a line about regret in this song, which is basicly his awnser to the industry since they tried to gegt him, long time ago. also he awnsered with his i dont feed em i dont need em and so on line.
Awe...you got it🤔 i just wrote that before I heard you say it though🙂 Great minds think alike 😁 i always answer as I go so I don't forget. Thats why there is usually more then one.
I’m CONFIDENT Nate didn’t not tell them to not swear. NF has spoken in detail about swearing. He has old songs old old songs where he swore but just said he didn’t feel like it was him. So he has said he has ZERO issues with other rappers swearing and he would never tell another rapper how to handle their art just like he doesn’t want told how to handle him. So I’m positive they actively made the choice to not swear out of respect and they deserve credit. INTRO II is my favorite track. It can also be considered that fame is the devil or a demon. On no name he hangs up on fame. On leave me alone he sends fame the song and calls him back. So absolutely it’s all connected in my mind. Nate enjoys personifying his emotions. On remember this it’s one of the biggest examples. “Angers a liar he ain’t got no respect/I fell in love with my pain and slept with my regrets/ Happiness saw it happen maybe that’s why she up and left/joy called me a cheater said she ain’t coming back.”
also i was thinking there was a nothinig loose tie into his song outcast being that a kennel is really just a cage/cell. several songs reference that but i felt outcast was the most in your face version.
This was great! Give Dax a high 5 for me 😂. I’m looking forward to your reaction for Story, Drifting and Layers also. To me I think this may be his best body of work, and I am a huge fan of all of his music. Ok I’m outta here ✌️
Crazy collaboration I feel NFs part was deeper and better story telling for sure and techn9ne was braggadocious faster and cleaner but that’s his lane was dope tho
No one comments on: the tb and plague line.. and how after he said leaving the regular rappers resting bruh... It became too tongue twisters for the regular rapper to rap. I usually can just read lyrics to even tech songs but after that part it got really hard really quick.
@@AltSpace pls do ‘that’s a joke’ dude, ya boi be SPITTIN bars (also story is freaking epic but I gather you’ve already got that one on the radar haha) 💥
I kinda intrigue on how NF gon crush, destroy and turned to dust someone who even made a mistake of dissing him. Man, I can almost hear the begging to make him stop. 😅
