@@traupman84 well, it would be good for them to talk about Fooze lore before Rae wakes her up, and they before they do the reunion. Each of them have been building on the lore and they're not even aware. For example, when did February leave? What was their childhood? Idl, it would be cool to see on stream insetad of them just discussing in a group chat.
Wait the in character podcast sounds amazing. That's how they get Mr. K to get on the podcast. It will probably get robbed but we will have had CG on the podcast.
I wish there was more focus on establishing guidelines for the tech side of streaming out of Los Santos. Many streamers could use help with the various game settings, balancing audio, graphics, gameplay mechanics, camera techniques, mic techniques, audio output balancing, voice tone timbre projection techniques, etc. The players are basically a film crew and actor in one. Helping them produce a quality streaming product would help everyone.
Streaming in itself surely have tooons of tutorials on everything involved out there on either RU-vid or other platforms. Gta stuff little less, was more annoying before with all visuals mods, but now the server have one so, not an issue really anymore.
I think a lot of people don't get past 1 podcast episode because they just look at the numbers of that episode and get demotivated. Instead of trying to build something. You also see it with RP streamers starting YT channels and not understanding how to handle it. They'll upload once or twice and abandon it. While its important to first create watchtime on your channel and then consistently upload so you'll get picked up by the algorithm.
@1:32:32 There have been radio shows with callers, they used radios for the phone system and to listen to it on. I think the only thing stopping anyone from doing more radio shows or a podcast is the lack of tools to facilitate it. Being able to stream to in game radio station or to a URL that can be accessed by RPers phone or hell the PCs with an app would be cool.
@1:24:29 Saab tell me you don't know what you are talking about without saying you don't know what you are talking about. The amount of real money spent in EVE Online is NOT because of micro-transactions.
Our podcast (hosted Spotify and other audio spots, we don't post on RU-vid) has been on the air for 16 years this November. A lot of podcasts podfad (podcast + fade) after their first few episodes because they don't take the next step to work for their audience. It can be hard for people to realize the work that goes into figuring out your content, getting comfortable on the mic, carrying on a conversation or topic, structuring things properly/entertaining, editing, finding a host, figuring out how to get the eps published, etc Then they realize they ALSO have to engage with the audience, work for new listeners, making sure you're inviting them to listen if they want, not pressure or spam them to keep up, etc It's more work than they realize. Oh and WAY too many people start solo podcasts. You NEED a co-host (in my opinion) so you're not talking into the void. If you talk to yourself you're basically monologuing the entire time. That can feel very lonely, so when you don't find your audience immediately, it not only feels like you're talking into the void, the numbers REFLECT it.
