i know this is a joke but that really is his fault. You can go on and on about the defense and honestly i agree he's one of the greatest defensive minds in the league right now, but he's not the DC. We kinda have to expect something out of the offense, but he's done virtually nothing offensively and has actually been detrimental to a playoff caliber offense. One example of this is how he refused to sit in on QB meetings last year and previous years, you can say all you want about his defense, but hes not a DC, so why should the jets keep someone who's only able to properly run half a professional football team?

Of course he'd stink; he spent his whole career getting sacked to pad his QB stats and running out of pocket on broken plays. Anyone who thought old slow Rodgers would succeed in the pocket is/was crazy. Of course he's throwing ints instead of just losing his team field position 4th and outs; he can't move any more. He's 4th all time at getting sacked and only has 236 games 6.49%. He'll be number 1 all time if he continues to start for the Jets next year; heck, maybe this year already has 13.

Saleh, for his part, had one of the best defenses in the league. The offense hasn’t gotten better even with Aaron Rodgers behind center, and if Woody wanted to make an actual difference, he would’ve looked more closely at his starting QB and OC. Apparently Saleh’s great sin this year was trying to be a head coach in actuality, which included making Rodgers accountable to the team and also taking a more active interest in the offense.

I told my friends that the Jets are gonna suck this year, and it’s becuz Aaron Rodgers is their QB. The man isn’t interested in being good at football, he’s interested in being popular and he wants everyone to think he’s the smartest person in the room. This is by far one of the funniest things ever (though Pat McAfee just yells too much and is unwatchable these days). Had Saleh been able to ditch Hackett, there's an outside chance they could have gotten a wild card...or more if the Bills keep face planting. But, I think 7-10 is now their ceiling. One of these weeks Rodgers is going to really hurt something. Other than his tender fee-fees.

The Jets have a very predictable offense; the Vikings ran many of the same defensive stunts that Denver did and the Jets still had no answers. The offense uses little motion or shifts. Nathaniel Hackett should have been fired, but Rodgers likes him. Unfortunately for the Jets, 2024 Rodgers is not 2020 Rodgers.

pretty sure he is the only guy in the huddle with the magic radio... buccaneers qb should have changed the sell out left screen to a run or just fakeded it, looked for evens, then ran to waste time if he was covered (which he wasn't)..bad call ...and some team threw 3 passes from their endzone when needed to waste like 40 seconds....lost by a walk off fg... another set of bad play calls. Coaches that use computers stat data to call plays should be fired...

Even though I am not a Jets fan, I do not like this move at all, and it certainly proves why the Jets continue to miss out on reaching the Promised Land: drama and dysfunction within the organization. I do blame Saleh for bringing in the wrong people into his coaching staff, but by pinning the team's woes on him feels like a slap in the face. Saleh has always been a defensive minded coach, and the Jets have a strong defensive core which will still likely be good even without the guy who built that unit. In terms of QB woes, this one is on the GM for drafting the wrong guy, twice. Even worse, Darnold performing so well right now with the Vikings, it really makes you wonder where is the real core of the problem with the Jets. As for Saleh, he's still in his mid-40s, and considering his defensive resume, teams will knock on his door next offseason for a potential defensive coordinator job.

As a Jets fan Saleh has been horrendous and most of us are happy. Since he’s been their HC the Jets have committed the most penalties and have the second worst turnover ratio in the league behind the Panthers. Their DC Ulrich is taking over and seems to be a good leader and is a former player who the players love.

Salah is a good man who should get an NFL job pretty quickly. He gained my respect by seemingly never throwing Zach Wilson under the bus after a game. We all know he couldve....numerous times. Salah , i believe , knew he needed a confident Wilson to run the offense / team success. He did that...to a fault it appears.
