How was he a cancer when he was healthy with Green Bay? They won 13+ games back to back MVPs two NFC championship appearances. Robert getting fired isn’t his fault we’ve literally been asking for his job for three years😂 y’all just hate Rogers so much that y’all want to blame him for things that has nothing to do with him
When are they going to hold Watson accountable? You people wanted him to be drafted #1 overall, but he's been nothing but a failure in the NFL, and he's lost most of his money to legal settlements. He'll be in prison within the next ten years for sure. Another Darren Sharper
@RobbieStacks90 The fact that you said "You people" let's me know exactly why your talking Watson on a Jets discussion and it has nothing to do with sports.
@@RobbieStacks90every other Hour they call Watson trash. STFU fam. You legit don't watch the show or you here to protect Rodgers. He don't love you or even know you exist. Just like I will proceed to forget you do after I make this comment sped boi
Swagu is 100% right. As a Jets fan, I kind of feel bad for Saleh. He was put in a situation where a 40-year-old quarterback was the de facto general manager, and he didn't have any say in personnel. But you also can't say that a change needed to be made. He'll probably go on to win a Super Bowl as the defensive coordinator with another team since the Jets are so cursed. I also hope he gets another shot to be a head coach a couple years down the line.
@@johnnyjets2343 i mean the defense was never the issue. it's the offense. we all know the OC wasn't gonna get let go midseason or at all. i'm not defending Saleh but firing him 5 games into the season when the division is up for grabs seems odd especially after coming off a 3 int performance. now if Rodgers and the offense continue to struggle, who is gonna get the blame then?
@@w00deey12the head coach will still get most, if not all of the money from the contract. So in the case of pro sports, getting fired or demoted as head coach isn’t bad at all
Rodgers is a diva and washed up. The Jets catered to him and it's costing them. Firing Saleh was ridiculous and reeks of desperation from a franchise that's floundering. Rodgers isn't the savior they thought he would be.
To be fair the ARodge circus is something Saleh will be happy to shed himself of and I expect he will find a good job somewhere else either college or as an assistant. He was not nearly the issue that a divided locker room and diva QB
I like how the Jets fired their defensive-minded head coach who had the defense playing really good when the offense was the issue. The Jets are clearly gaslighting to protect Aaron Rodgers poor play. Somehow, Aaron threw 3 interceptions, and they are blaming Saleh's defense, who despite Aaron's 3 picks, held the Vikings offense to 23 points. 😂😂😂
Even better, the Vikings offense was held to 16 points. 7 of those points came from Rodgers throwing a pick 6 😭 But somehow Saleh gets blamed. Joke franchise.
it was clear that Salah was the scapegoat. that incident with Rodgers and the "hug" was him telling Salah "look you bout to be canned". heck Kirk Cousins just threw for 509 yards and 4 touchdowns coming off the same injury as Rodgers. what's Rodgers excuse for his bad play?
The Jets' playoff odds did not shift at all after Saleh was fired. The head coach is just a figurehead in the NFL. You either have a great team or you don't.
Saleh will have the last laugh when Rogers suffers another season ending injury due to his lack of mobility and extreme fragility from old age. It's inevitable!😂
I didnt think the Jets would go to the AFC championship. At least the playoffs with Rodgers. But firing the head coach was a bad move they should have waited until week 12.
In the offseason more likeĺy..drake maye is rotting away in new england he should have the weapons jets have look at daniels in DC ..an old dog isn´t innovation anymore cus rodgers is washed and he ain´t no brady or mahomes
Marcus Spears cookbook for sale today! He cooked Aaron Rogers and everyone else that placed the Jets in the SB anyway you want them. He grilled them, baked them, then covered them with gravy!
Where’s all this energy for the Dolphins and Bengals struggles? I find it interesting that apparently only the Jets organization can be criticized. How about the fact that Miami struggles with all the talent they have? What about the fact that the Bengals can’t seem to win games either?
@@aroperdope No I’m not. Woody Johnson barely puts himself in the media like he did this morning. Woody Johnson made a business decision that he felt needed to be made. Don’t act like Saleh was a great head coach because he wasn’t. 20-36 record isn’t good.
@@varunaX You aren't paying attention to the rest of the World. QANON has been a very successful conspiracy source created by the Russians to dupe Americans w/in the last 10 yrs (there are no accidents) that TOOK OFF AND SUCCEED in duping gullible dumb Americans into all kinds of bullsh8t. Rogers being a rebel w/out a clue took to all kinds of conspiracy theories that he pretended "he studied" when in reality he was pulled into some of that bubble. That is why sicko RFK jr proposed at one point for Rogers to be his VP running mate. GOD HELP US. TK GOD THAT WENT NO WHERE.
The New York Jets have escorted” Xerxes I” out of the building and off of the premises, I heard that “ Xerxes I” was calm , and there was no need for that type of display 😳😂😂😂🏉🏉🏉👍🏾
If im the raiders and knowing they have other customers, the price for the Jets specifically just rose for Adams. They want him bad so at this point take everything you can get because regardless other teams also want him. Take advantage of the desperation
Since Bills fans wants Sean McDermott FIRED, I found his replacement in Robert Saleh. Robert Saleh should be the Bills head coach over Sean McDermott and Bills fans will see how much better a head coach Sean McDermott is over Robert Saleh.
SAS talking about people who were never good enough to even think about getting on the field of play is super ironic lmao. I didn’t need to watch anything past that point.
The Jets problem for over 20 years is they can't protect the QB. They keep drafting QBs high and can't protect them. Then they get an old Rodgers and, predictably, can't protect him.
Do not forget that Stephen A. said Super Bowl and Jets in the same sentence because he got caught up in 1 (1) one victory because Rodgers played decent in one victory early in the season. Stephen A. Smith must have an Aaron Rodgers blowup doll.
The reason why Salaaa wasn't important after the Jets got Rodgers is the same reason why he got fired. After getting Stafford, was it still Mcvays's team? Yes. And even though Brady took over in T.B. Bruce Arians did a better job of not allowing it to all about him.
Total BS. Saleh has the WORST win loss history as a head coach in first 40 games in Jet history. Lack of discipline, frequent penalties, not being on the same page is all on Saleh.
This might be a clear cut example of racism right in front of everyones eyes. Saleh didnt draft shitty players that were there before him… he made them competitive without a qb and gave them one of the best defenses
Stephen A is out to lunch. With Zach Wilson, Saleh was able to lead the Jets to a moderately respectable 7-11 record. He's not a bad coach. They made a bad investment in Rodgers and all that comes with him.
Robert was fired cause he cussed out the GM and Owner over Aaron having too much power. Escorted out by security is crazy, that means something went down.
Imagine saying the head coach of a team is the most unimportant. Lol and swagu was football player himself right and he thinks the head coach isn’t the man problem. 🤡
Unimportant means you’re leaving. Bring in Hackett, head coach is done. It’s a dysfunctional power struggle in Jets land. They have zero chance to get to a superbowl.
Idk people so scared to say ARod isn’t playing good. He hasn’t. People say it about Mahomes this year already and he’s higher on the all time list than ARod is.
The Jets still need to have their oline do better. He barely has time in the pocket. Cant keep throwing the ball fast to protect your QB from getting hit. Also the defense was better last year. The defense is still playing well
In my opinion, this goes back to developing the right culture. The wrong culture is in place in New York for the Jets. They are depending on Aaron Rodgers to set the culture. I like Rodgers as a player but this is not a good look for him.
I'm not even a Jets fan, and I know this jacked up! Discount Doublecheck got that guy fired! 😅 And now 3 teams are competing for 💩📽 team of the year! Carolina, Cleveland, and NYJ! JAX and NYG, you're on the clock! 😅 But my favorite comment here is Shay's "If it don't come out in the wash it'll come out in the rinse!" 😅 Finally; SA, let it go! Yo 'Bad-Man' just ain't no bad man no more! Now he's actually a bad man! And not bad meaning good, bad meaning bad! 😂
Go look up any group meeting of the Giants D-line from those Super Bowl teams you will NEVER see a coach in that huddle. Giants won with GROWN men who handled business.
Seems to me like the Jets offense just picked up from where they left off last season. Good defense still giving them a chance to win games. Rodgers doesn’t strike me as having leadership ability like the Manning and Brady’s. He just doesn’t have the personality traits they do, which made them such great team leaders. Rodgers has always come off as too arrogant, stubborn and self absorbed. He’s still a very talented qb at 40, but now he’s at the end of his career and just isn’t able to perform like he did in his prime. Hackett could be one of those coaches who due to being involved with one of the strongest/most successful NFL franchises in history and having such great Hall of Fame players while he was there; caused his coaching ability to become a little too inflated and overrated. Maybe he’s just riding the Rodgers and Green Bay success as long as he can. Maybe NFL defenses figured out his offense and are now able to easily pick it apart. I think Jet ownership was just starting to panic. They know their time with Rodgers is extremely limited, and maybe their super bowl expectations with him were a little unrealistic. Thinking he could do what Manning did with Denver and Brady with Tampa. They sensed a mutiny was fixing to take place and in hopes of saving the season just threw the captain overboard. Don’t think that’s ever worked out very well, but we shall see!
Exactly right. Couldn't have said it better. Don't understand why the Jets would have stayed with this fossil at QB. He couldn't get it done in Green Bay and couldn't get it done in NY. They Jets should have just drafted a franchise QB, and now they are going to have to start all over again. Really feel for Jets fans. And the fact that Rodgers was able to grow distrust between himself and the coach, it just shows Saleh wasn't strong enough to counter that. Rodgers is and was always the problem.
