I started this game in the beginning of it and then I started by using melee weapons. 2-hand were very slow... BUT with the proper perks and legendary effects they were brutally effective. Key factors were (maybe that is still true) faster fire rate and Vampire, the other factor being your character's resilience for when it is not yet attacking, but still in the approaching phase. Basically, the worst part of a melee weapon is that you only cause damage when in hand to hand contact, and only to one enemy at a time. Also, when enemies are not directly reachable, especially if shooting at you from different angles, it poses a difficult problem.
@joaovasco3059 1h has the least damage of the melee types. 2h and unarmed are neck and neck for top melee dps. With proper builds the damage difference is quite small, like maybe 20 damage points and still not taking into account the base faster swing speed of unarmed. I'm not arguing against your opinions or choices, but I am trying to point out that saying unarmed is weaker than other melee types is, well... heavy handed (I couldn't help myself) Also, yes I'm excluding auto melee from the discussion, because they are really in a class of their own, lol.
From my understanding, the Chinese Stealth Armor is also the only armor that fully mitigates incoming stagger effects. I haven’t verified that but I did read it somewhere online a while back. Anyone been able to verify this?
literally earlier today I was debating on buying the secret service jetpack from Regs because I was already down there buying brawling arm plans for the secret service armor and I figured id wait and see if Minerva had it next go around, low and Behold I see this video lol, plus I was planning on getting the war glaive plasma blade eventually as well.
Dam, stuff costs alot of gold... that jet pack for 1500 sure is alot... but understandable. Ill just save up and grab all of the pieces when possible, gives me something to work on. BTW thanks for making the comment about doing the prep with both factions, I was not aware it was worth it or even possible to do prep with both the raiders or Foundation.
I stopped buying stuff at her... For example armormods. You have to check, which ones they are. I bought some Secret Service mods last time, and at V79 i noticed, that there are mods with better stats.. And here it's the same. Pocketed Limbs are the lower ones with +5 carryweight per part. There are deep pocket mods, with 10 carryweight per part. Then the chinese stealth armor... You can get the plan for free, when doing the V79 raid preps with the seddlers. Check all the stuff she sells. And check it twice.
The Plasma Flamers are very good... If you have the Vampire legendary effect on them. Even the regular kind, the complicated Enclave variety is hard to get and update properly. Just go with an automatic Vampire weapon to be the most resilient fighter in the game 😊
You mean union? Currently union isnt in game due to a bug Its fixed in test servers but most likely will stay as a stamp item On the plus Atlantic expeditions are fast, give tones of ammo of your weapon and lots of legendarys modules, legendary cores and occasionally tickets
If you mean Union then it's a stamp item. I've never seen a stamp item become a gold item and I wouldn't expect that it'll be sold for gold. Usually gold items are unique prizes from events, daily ops, and scoreboards.
I remember when the Union armor bug was happening, very upsetting when killing a legendary enemy only to get a legendary you couldn't pick up. But, when an item is stuck in an enemies inventory, after a certain amount of time, the items will just land on the ground available for anyone to grab. That was how I got a whole Union PA set without learning any of the pieces. Then I learned the pieces after that whole thing.
You get about 4-8 treasury notes per event and you can do as many as you like. But you can only exchange about 40 per day for gold, that gives you 400 gold per day. In your case you should get the secret service armor first. The jetpack is a mod for that.
Lvl 500+ non-power armour user here: you don't *need* the jetpack. They look cool, and on paper they *sound* cool, but there's better things to spend your gold on when you're lower levels (deep pockets, buttressed and the underarmour and its mods spring to mind). Obviously it's up to you, but I much prefer using the Marsupial mutation if I need height, as I'm a VATS user, so the jetpack is of zero use to me in combat, and doesn't give enough of a height or travel speed advantage to justify the cost, in my opinion, until you're at the "bored and have too many resources and gold" point of the game. But everyone's different.
Getting bored of seeing nothing but bloodied builds in the game now, its getting that every player is bloodied. Id like to see some good full health vanguard builds for a change :(
Pretty much the same principles apply, it's just that bloody favours more damage vs full health which favours better survivability. But yeah, low health does tend to get favoured. IMHO the biggest reason is that dying has very little penalty. If you lost a lot of progress when you died it wouldn't be anywhere as popular as it is.
If that’s all they got to choose from it’s not worth it. I don’t need all that T6 five bull crap I got worthless already got the Chinese power armor already got the Secret Service armor and the jet pack not worth it
