There's so much to explore in Ghana. The food, the cultures, the traditional architecture, traditional attires, the savanna region biome, the rainforests, the pretty women. 😘👍 Ghana has a lot to offer to tourists and/or immigrants.

The thing is in Africa/Ghana we live open life whereas in the west they live close life, that's why in Africa/Ghana you get help from anybody expecially if you are woman/single.

Jasmine I watched a VLOG about living longer and the vlogger interviewed people around the world living into late 90 and 100’s. One component mentioned was community to combat loneliness. I’m moving to Ghana in January and I was concerned about making friends in my 70’s. Your video addressed this concern right away. Thank you. I’m a writer and RU-vidr so I won’t be idil, thanks hopefully we can meet next year. My name: Professor Wize

Sorry Jasmine I don’t think Ghanaians turn up late to board a flight so I will say if they turn up late to an appointment that is pure disrespectfulness. Also that laid back attitude to work is why nothing progresses in Ghana.. in any case thank you for videos which we always enjoy watching

I have shared your videos along with other tubers about Ghana with my co-workers. I am surprised at the amount of them who are researching the prices of flights and hotels who want to visit and possibly relocate there. They are surprised at the beauty, and the warmth of the Ghanaian people. My wife met a young man at her church today who's family is Ghanaian, and his mother is there on vacation. We look forward to chatting with this family as we prepare to relocate to Ghana. Jasmine, your videos are very informative and provides lots of answer to questions that one may have about Ghana. You have definitely turned us on to Ghana and we look forward to making her our future home. Keep up the good work because you are making a difference in the lives of others around the globe. The high cost of living, especially for Accra/tema is a major reason people pack up and leave. International students are suffering same fate. We should work on this. We want more people, from diverse backgrounds to have some Ghana experience. We should cut down on the greed especially in the real estate sector, we should remove some taxes from fuel to make it cheaper, we should reduce duty at the ports, ECG should collect more of their bills and reduce the high tariffs they charge, we should produce more food etc etc

Ghana is not a one stop country for everything and everybody, but it is a country that offers a lot of peace, prosperity, culture, community and love. People would come and some would go for many personal reasons but so it is for every country in the world. People have different needs and expectations. Not all can be met by Ghana. But for the many whose needs and expectations matches that of Ghana, it is one the best places to live on earth.

For instance, talking about the lateness, when I lived in Accra, being a Nigerian I had a problem with the laidbackness of Ghanaians. Omg! I’m always like, can you take life a little more seriously 😂 but I’m met with oh kakra kakra ohemaa 😂. It used to annoy me so much that at first I didn’t see the patience lesson it was teaching me. I’m back to living in Nigeria now and I’d have people ask me why are you slow? 😂 and guess what? I’m almost always late for everything now 😂.

Your video about tourism in Ghana is amazing and nice, but one has to be realistic about the country when talking about coming to stay permanently in Ghana, studies show the development of new infrastructure is not in line with the rate of people moving into Ghana to stay. I am not talking about the tourist who comes in for a few weeks to a couple of months to enjoyed the Ghanaian hospitality, that's all well and good. Just we all have to be careful not to go over board, you just looked great Ghana Ba.

Looks like you bumped into the wrong people with time and punctuality issues, etc. You never use that to paint and portray a general picture. You need to correct that impression. That is not akin to Ghanaians alone. I’ve experienced lots of people in the West with the challenge of time and other vices as well. I recommend you take your time, live in the right environment culturally long enough, so you can get the right and appropriate photographs to make your presentations valid enough.
@pepiiv5131

Jasmine you really shouldn't encourage people to come to Ghana. I visited and decided not to stay after a month. Constant power cuts and constant water lock offs. When the power goes, the mosquitoes are after you because you can no longer blast them with a fan or AC. Water lock offs means fetching water in buckets to flush and bath. Hard mattresses that feels like you're sleeping on cardboard, seems to be the preferred choice of landlords because they last long. Terrible roads, ridiculous traffic jams caused by selfishness with no one willing to give way. That the people are friendly and warm is a big positive but it doesn't mean you're not going to be hustled. If you don't speak the language...you're obroni and that's unfortunate. Finally, the government prefers you to only visit as a tourist and leave after 2 months. Don't be fooled that your presence is more valued than your money.

You need to plan and do your research. Take trips to Ghana and see if you like it before moving there to understand the environment and also to network! You need a job in Ghana especially with the way the economy has gone. I am sure there are Jamaican RU-vidrs who have moved there you can search for. Remember Ghana is not only Accra.

You talk about TIME. What if you have a business and you want your staff to come in at a certain time. Does this matter.?

i love your channel but sometimes it looks like you are just showcasing Ghana from a diaspora perspective and not from a Ghanaian actually living in the country and suffering the consequences of a broken system. Most Ghanaians cannot even travel to some of the resorts and beauty of the country.

That’s the perspective she lives. There are Ghanaian content creators out there who understand Ghana from that perspective

Saa, I think Ghanaian women are taking too much advantage on your first point. So we the Chiselmen association have STOPPED treating women in a special way and embraced equality in all its dimensions and ramifications🤣

The tendency of Ghanaian's been late to events is innate, really. We just can't help it. its in our DNA. Remember Ghana is at the centre of the earth. The prime meridian and the equator intersect within the waters very close to where Jasmine was reporting (the rocky beach at Sakumono-Tema; Port City). We 'spin' around the earth's axis and around the sun faster than anyone else on earth. so why should we ever 'hurry' on, or about any issue related to time? We own TIME on earth, believe it or not. no hurry in Ghana ooo...relax relax...chill everyone, you are in Ghana, ahead in time, nobody can out run, out pace you, yet people don't notice. Ghana Mean Time is faster than Greenwich Mean Time. Ghana's Time reigns....no worries for us ever. its neither laziness nor whatever.

It's interesting. My former partner of 7 years was born and bred Ghanaian and rejected advances there on religious grounds. Something that is not currency in Britain.
