Wonderful story, thank you. And Yes that's what the Rebbe does. Amazing messenger of G-d. When the Rebbe was asked what his field of study was in college (at the Sorbonne) he replied; “My field was electrical engineering, but I prefer to turn on the lights in people’s souls.” the Rebbe

I never knew the correct pronunciation of Algemeiner! I though it was with a soft "G" - Now I know it's pronounced with a hard "g" thank you.

Thank you very much for this extraordinary story. I've read one of Nathan Yalin Mor's book. Great, very great book. As all of the person's involved in Leh'i, he was not a "politician" but a jewish proud of his jewness. I'm very glad to see that the Rebbe had such a true connection with him. It's somehow similar to what happened with Viktor Frankl (I also read his book _man's in search for meaning_ ) : knowing that they were in such a deep connection with the Rebbe makes a difference in how we can relate to their work. Again thanks.

Even in old age, the Rebbe was incredibly sharp and astute to be able to remember conversations with so many people, but addition to that he gave such sound advice to those many . A wise king Solomon of our day.
