Here's a video explaining what to use your Trailblaze Power on after reaching Trailblaze Level 40 in Honkai Star Rail.
Keep in mind this is my opinion and what I have personally been doing. In my experience, it has worked very well. But remember that you are free to spend your Trailblaze Power in whichever order you'd like. This is just a recommendation.

A friend of mine suggest grinding world 3-5 since it drops the same mats you'll need to upgrade. It also gives exp for the skill tree so that runs become easier to do.

when I got to trailblaze power to 40, I mostly used fuels to farm for relics because of CC's whole discourse of "now we can focus on the relics for the PP damage". Alas, I shoulda focused on leveling up the traces, since they give a permanent boost

Oh dang. On the bright side it’s salvageable relic XP for later. Trailblaze power regenerates over time so you should be okay

Solid Advice. The Relic part is very important. I just got a few sets for my second team and called it a day. Not worth it at level 40

Definitely is not worth it at TB 40, it takes up too much trailblaze power for very little return

No problem. I think relics will be good later on, but from TB 40 to 50, it doesn't seem worth it. I farmed some relics and it didn't seem to be doing anything for my characters lol

I agree, Traces are very good to farm. Sure TB50 can drop Purples, but the rates are abysmally low. Better to farm Traces, which gives a guaranteed power boostm then farm Relics where you have a chance to get more options. I will also say that farming a bit of Relic at TB 40 to get 5 star 2 piece (about 3-6 run) is also not a bad investment for some stat boost.

That’s true. I also think getting 5 star gloves is good because it’s always flat ATK which is guaranteed to be a boost. But again it’s random so you could spend lots of trailblaze power and still not get any. If you manage to get a 5 star glove though it’s a big boost.

I am gona use fuel at level 50 to get relics done. From 40-50 when i got my current traces done. I am just gona go for money exp books. Because for trave or relics material are so much more efficent to do after 50

Yes exactly. It doesn’t seem worth it to farm relics from 40 to 49. 40 power for 1 relic, ehhh

are the credit costs that high to warrant using tb power for credits as u go thru the game??

If you know what you want to 70/70, it's not that big of a need. Remember that maxing a character can go up to 4 million credits per character. Use the Star Rail Ascension Planner to find out how much you need.

If you upgrade multiple characters to 40 to get their rail passes, you will need a bunch of credits. Otherwise yeah like justjunior said you can 70/70 your main team without having to farm credits that much. I personally would farm credits if you max out what you can at TB 40-49 for the characters you want. Start going for relics at 50.

in genshin we can get Xp without using resin, therefore saving them would be wise. but in Hsr , you need to use T power to progress, so if you dont use fuel early you ll be using power directly but the progress will be slow. maybe things could change in 2 years or so, when there would be enough content and quests that you dont need T power to lvl up, but for now you got no other choice

Not only that but you get free fuels from the battlepass too. In the early days of Genshin, the BP didn’t have fragile resin
