a few comments : Venenu and a few other top level mid players seem to think that sac shroud is just as good as pendulum because: 40phys prots, 90 power, 15% increased damage; zapman still builds silverbranch from time to time, especially with the attack speed being on ALL the hunter items; ALL of the solo laners who play erlang shen solo start with death's toll and go into death's embrace, they say even if they get antiheal, the cooldown on hit is still pretty good to get back turtle for the shield and the 1 for boxing
As a Masters support main Sentinels Boon is good because it allows you to deal with imperfect plays (which happens in basically every game if youre not in an SPL match)... Your team decides to take a silly fight? You took an awkward lane push and got poked for it? Doesn't matter. Heals it away. Spartan Flag is good if most of the fights are happening in the jungle, Banner is better for lanes. Benevolence is insanely strong. Giving EVERYONE 12% mit in fights is crazy. It mitigates more than 30 prot aura Sentinels. Nemean is overrated. Build it on Kuz or if supp already has midgard vs multiple autoattackers/crit. On midgard - very strong underrated item. It reduces hunter dps more than spectral, while also making them move slower. It also stops fatalis pretty well.
@@Mr-ubs that was when the item wasn’t great but it’s got buffs over the years and now it’s quite good on gods that stack prophetic easily as now in late game you can sell it for a shifters shield.
Have to say this is completely false. Looking at Steam charts, Smite's popularity is declining more and more, about 1k players per month ever since the burst at the start of the season. The 9.5 patch revert chased away more players than kept, and it was merely pandering towards pros who enjoy and typically engage at a higher skill level. This update also didnt show an increase of people playing, and it goes to show how hard they're trying to damage control until Smite 2 comes out. Smite 1 is on life support, and they're pulling out lazy solutions like backrolling the game to nostalgic moments, which was never good to begin with and has merely become a party game. We're back to the same problems pre-9.5 where people are complaining about burst meta, it's hard to learn from mistakes, and the item balance is abysmal. You know what, you are right, Smite 1 isnt dying. It's been dead since Hirez pulled the plug on it start of this year for Smite 2. It got shot in the back of the head, but Hirez realized they still need the money from Smite 1, so after trying to kill it they put it on life support. Tragic.
@@GuiriTV I don't disagree with you about the revert stuff I was one of the only people saying that would be terrible for the game at the time and getting a lot of shit from streamers and their communities for it. But that's not what I said. 7 years ago the playerbase was less than it is today
@@mikerphone. Oh apologies. Misinterpreted your comment. But I still have to disagree. Just because the game is bigger, doesn't mean it has good retention. The game may have more people playing overall since 5-6 years ago, but the amount of people staying has been steadily declining for a while now. So in terms of keeping players and increasing players, it's slowly dying. I've played Smite since close beta, and even I quit because of the poor decisions HiRez is making to pander to pros and rake in as much cash before Smite 2 comes out. It's quite sad.
Most top support players are putting Spartan flag at the top of their starter tier list tho. Since they switched the power into ports, it's so good and way easier to use than war banner, since you don't have to play around waves like with banner, you just deal damage and get the proc.
Could we get a bruiser ravana game? Havent seen anyone use soul eater with phoenix shield on him. Also you try Asi on erlang yet(you get 63% lifesteal while asi effect and his 1 is active)
There’s a bug in Smite rn where you can actually build Cannoneer’s Curaiss 6 times… but no one’s noticed because it hasn’t been bought one this entire year
In my experince. Most ADCs just out lifesteal the damage reflection from Nemeions. Even if it was not, ADCs utterly shred tanks with autos alone. Not counting the abilities and you are rarely going to be in a one on one agaisnt an adc. So i guess on paper and the rariety of one v one it is good? I find that the idea of *tanking* damage from a tank shredder should do more.
Your def better at smite than I am, however chronos pendant in B seems low, it’s almost like 30% cool-down with the ticks on one item, seems good for most ability users that are not professionals who use their abilities to their fullest? I throw it on a bunch of characters including guardians if I can. What am I a missing?
I tried using Cannoneers Cuirass in support and it’s SO good. Super cheap for decent stats and helps with getting the rest of your build online faster if you build it first as well as lane clear. After I get full build I sell it for something else.
44:40 I would improve Archmage’s Gem an upgrade where it also amplifies the healing done by your next healing ability by the same amount as the damage it amps up (so an additional 30% additional healing). This healing would be both for the ability part of it and any lifesteal, so it would stack with items that buff either.
I think this list is spot on. I would move some things but purely for preference reasons. Like soul reaver feels much worse after the revert for obvious reasons so I've been buying ob shard instead which feels crazy good rn imo. Also I would put soul gem S tier because i like it a lot, its not crazy good but green poof makes me happy
If you are crazy like me and ever do arachne solo, deaths embraces is stupidly fun on her. Full bruiser with embrace lets you constantly get your skills back just to be a total nightmare to the enemy team lol
Earrings always felt more like a crutch item than anything else. If you are good enough, you don't need the passive anyways. MP5 is nice early game, but that's all I think. Crimson Claws seems like a neat concept, giving yourself more hp, which should work in the current meta, just feel like stats are wrong. Imo, it should lean more into flat power, rather than AS, or scale the max shield HP on power.
Yeah the template I used was missing some items and I forgot to add it, I would say A-Tier for Solo Guardians specifically, wouldn't build it anywhere else outside of maybe Zhong Mid.
Midguard is better vs fatalis adc. You are able to catch him by slowing him down 24%, nemean has too low amount of dmg redirectes to be useful, with proper build adc will lifesteal all of redirected dmg while chasing you with fatalis. Midguard is really good vs anyone who uses fatalis.
44:39 Manikin Hidden Blade is fun with REALLY long range abilities like Neith’s or Nu Wa’s Ults. With the right build, any one such of those abilities can take an enemy god from full health to near death while you’re on the opposite side of the map (Preferably while they’re already in the middle of a life or death scrap).
44:40 I would like to give Seer of the jungle an additional but where, upon defeating a jungle boss or buff holder, you automatically drop a free ward at that location.
instead of a buildup to the full fatalis passive like intersect has suggested a few days ago, it should start at 100% and every auto after it loses 10% efficiency or whatever number the devs think will work. you hit 1 auto you get 100% haste, 2 autos, 90% haste effectiveness etc, itll let you insta kill 1-2 gods depending on how hard your gods autos are and then there can be like a 10-15 second cooldown on it
@@Solzen_Y'all dramatic asf. They don't "hate the item" there's just clear issues with trying to make tanks into dps than vice versa. A lot of squishy characters have utility in their kits that let them be useful when they become tanky and their kits being more ranged or high mobility lets them avoid whatever excess damage they'd take compared to a true tank Warriors and guardians don't magically gain range and mobility when they build rangdas. So they still have a low-range, low-mobility tanks kit thats now taking much more damage than usual while they try to get into range to deal damage That's why the super rare occasions where these gods are run in mid it's always gods like Yemoja, Charon, Ganesha, Wukong, Jorm, Chaac Because those gods have some sort of reach or ranged advantage. Rangdas needs the damage-taken penalty removed and replaced with a hard cap on protections to avoid accidental bruiser builds and it probably needs a sizeable movement speed boost somewhere between 9-15% to help gods actually gap close to get their damage off because if you take away the tanky part of most guardians/warriors they're just terrible assassins with no way to gap close
Been having fun with Blackthorn Shifter in any physical role lol. Even hunters are hella annoying with that, go AMC with Animosity Blackthorn Shifter Berserker Oni Qins Sais, the old cancer build.
Current shifter Shield is a core item for Evergreen acorn I will be very sad if they class restricted it. Considering Evergreen is one of the worst items in the game next to stormseeker.
Nerf shifters by making it ONLY avaliable for warriors ans guardians. As it once was. But its clear Smite NEEDED nerfed 9.5, shifters AND phoenix (old glad). Even MORE evidence that season 10 through 11 was NOT healthy and good for Smite

It was never only available too those two classes i dont know what you mean man. And doing that would take creativity and fun away from tank assassins or mages in solo. The item used to have physical power on base so it could only be build for physical originally, never on guardians. Just let them nerf it normally, it bloated anyways for any class
Fatalis is soo weird because is trash on hunters but broken on magical carrys and some melee gods. Also duality is really good on assassins and ability hunters. The "new" shields are broken thou.
Personally I dont think Fatalis is really broken, the stat spread is kinda bad. But my games against it i usually bash the adc who has it. Because it gwts shut down by midgard.
Main issue with rangda is that the t1 is shit Rangdas itself when fully stacked is basically a better gem of focus, but surving the entire earlygame with a %dmg increase while likely playing a god like wukong, cabra or chaac who *need* to get very close to be effective is really, really hard
It needs movespeed. The issue is that most tank kits are designed to walk up to the enemy eating damage the whole way and they don't magically gain any range or gap closing potential when you build rangdas

Cowl, asi, dominance, stormseeker, rage, and devoted deathbringer. This build right there. Try telling me how to fix this build to make it better. Found another build that seems to work slightly better. Keeping that one as a secret for myself.
Your build path is kinda wild. Waiting for 3rd and 4th Item to start buying stacking items, but building percent pen 3rd is hella dumb. How to make it better? Don't do it lol. Kinda curious who you're building this on though.

@@roguestorm2136 my atk spd builds have always had fatalis since it dropped. A machine gun is one thing, but a machine gun duct taped on the back of a gazelle is something to behold. Drop storm, buy fatalis more
@@roguestorm2136 the passive and percent pen of Dom makes it way better late, and stacking storm and rage earlier gives late game that much more power. Plus devoted doesn't do much until you overcap crit so I'd go the other glyph personally. Or you could just drop Dom for demon blade and that shit goes burrrr
Not alot of people perform well with stormseeker I get it.. but the item is goated.. it allows you to build for example full power and still get max attack speed its easlily god tier item for me.
At most your getting about 1.80 maybe 2.00 at like 35 minutes aka the game ending in the next 5 minutes XD it's such a bad item I farm everyone who uses it
