What to do About a Black Toenail 

I've walked 25,000step with a tight shoes (i did that because it was an emergency) and i noticed that my toes get black after two weeks ,so it is bc of the shoes or should i see a doctor?

I developed a black toenail after hiking about 4 months ago. There has never been pain or discomfort and the nail is not loose at all. Will the body re-absorb the blood at some point and clear it up?
