I know its counterintuitive to the topic of this video, but if you're returning or new to New World Aeternum, please don't feel as though you need to rush to max level! The journey to max in this game is pretty awesome in my opinion, savour it, take your time! All the content this video outlines will still be there, when you do get 65. No need to rush 😁
Unofrtunatley game is dead there is nothing to do in NW:A they killed end game crafting and they killed M3 dungeons, they introduce 10 man raid and PVP zone after 8 months which didint even contain meaningful rewards. :((( such wasted potential spend 3.5k hours in the game but devs are just incompetent bastards.
I've returned to Aeternum just for the MSQ. The new sequenzes and story line is very good so far. I doubt that I'll keep on grinding on the new char after the MSQ though...
I'm curious, what made it click again for you? I'm a new player and loving the game a lot so far But I'm hearing some vets say it's just the same stuff?
@Oryyyt basically the game is nothing different from what PC players already have. The only difference is that aeternum came with a lot of QoL and tweaks. What's important is are you having fun? This is what matters the most.
@@erickmunizroccoYeah but what I mean is what kept you playing despite it just being "more of the same"? I'm enjoying the Arpg combat and the foresty biomes a lot. And the easy to follow progression systems. It makes even the most mundane of activities fun for me lol I'm obsessed but I'm concerned about vets saying there's not much to do at endgame. What kind of content should they bring to help alleviate that?
@@gamezonereactions8388 Doing anything and everything to level > MSQ / forced questing. At least that's how I feel. I originally leveled doing mission board quests. Now those are nerfed and the only real way to level (also due to stuff locked behind quests) is the MSQ.
Would love to see a solo player build recommendations/opinion vid. I know you touched on the weapons in your weapon vid, but getting your opinion on weapon combos and armors for open world skilling, farming, and PvP would be sweet, even if it’s just a short 5 minute run down.
The one thing you are going to do the most off at max level is looking back at the great experienced you had leveling up, exploring new zones, just having fun and enjoying the game. Now End game hit you in the face and ooh boy that is a whole different game. But hey, im not going to spoil that experience. you can experience it for your self :)
I've been having fun with PvP at max level, getting my life skills slowly to max so I can craft what I want to both use and sell and have attempted to fight the sandwurm (attempted 😂) I honestly believe that PC players needed to play other games instead of making the game their home and getting jaded .. when it stops being fun stop playing lol simple concept.
Hey, really loving this endgame guide, there are couple of things I did not even know about, like the housing totems. When they said that they are bringing in the Life staff artifacts I was super excited but then I learned that it drops from PVP track lvl 20+ and since I hate doing any PVP its a no go for me.
Your outfits are awesome. I need a guide on cool transmogs and how to get them. That's my current level 65 hunt. That gladiator hood for example I definitely want.
You should make a video on good weapon combos for new players, a lot of new players including myself don’t really know what weapons to run together for “optimal build crafting”
Appreciate you and your content - been great. For returning players though- once you’ve done the new story content once over - the raid might entertain for a week? Mind boggling they haven’t atleast given a teaser of some kind of a road map.
I hate to be so negative.....I understand console release took a lot of resources....but seriously....the QoL stuff could ha e been added at anytime. I think they just do not care about pc players.
@@kailanirhys6107 You already bought it so they couldn't make more money off you, so console was next. It's all about money, not about the players. Screw the players if they can't make money off it. It's just the reality, it's a business, not a charity. I play the game too and I understand why they do what they do, it is what it is.
If you play on a FS yeah, you have some more things to do. But if you try to play on Legacy servers there is basically 3h/week worth of "endgame" content.
@@zanexander So do those 3 hours on your former main character each week - and put focus on your new main fresh character because it is fun as hell and reminds of former glory launch days. Only that before when we did it, we did exactly this, 1 thing at a time, made it feel thin and no-content. Now everything is here, so it will definately be content this time.
You've been playing for days, wait until you hit the week, month and year mark, if you ever get there before you're bored. There's a month or two of content at most. Unless you really enjoy running chest runs with tons of bots.
We finally got a "Raid". The reason I do a quote on quote on that word, is that it's basically a glorified dungeon for 10 players. 3 bosses is not a raid, imo. A raid should be like 8-10 bosses and take a much longer time to complete.
The game itself is great... It's a fact. But!! It can be over very quickly. A couple of hours between 60-80 you have all the basic stuff maxed out. Now the reboot is working quite well but in the long run the endgame will not be able to keep that player base. I'm not trying to be negative, just experience speaks for itself. I think in about 2-3 months the active player base will drop below 10 000 again... I say this with nearly 900 hours in the game. Hoping the best for New World!
@@gamezonereactions8388 I have already played the game before .. just forgot some things. But I can for sure say, real game starts once you hit mx lvl bro
Getting to max lvl is the struggle alone i get so bored questing and when u que for dungeon its an hour or two and then i just leave que and then i close the game 😅
Did they get rid of the whole pushing up the watermark of your gear? I had a blast playing on launch bit hitting lvl 60 quickly turned into spend hours doing 100 man runs ignoring fights and opening chest after chest just to up the watermark rating on your various pieces of gear meticulously. That's about when I quit as I was falling asleep doing that.
Guys i need help. I just reached 65 and played arenas. I know for sure that i'm bad but seriously, people destroy me with basic attacks. Are the fresh server players playing VS people Who IS full builds with perfect gear? How can i gear Up the fastest way yo enjoy arena?
This game doesn’t get boring for me. This new servers I got rich off bags. You can then focus on other things in the game. After I hit level 64 I focused on maxing trade skill and made soo much money that I can just save time and buy off the trade shop.
I miss the days MMOs we're a slog to get to max lvl. You had fun on the journey. 1 new item gave you a massive boost. Pvping at multiple lvl brackets. Now for most it's not even a journey, It's a chore. They speedrun it to sit at endgame, hoping their mediocre achievement of being one of the first to max lvl will somehow skyrocket their bland twitch channels, then inevitably complain they have nothing to do.
How do you get white and black dye in this game? I looking at the all color option and I’m not seeing the white dye that you have in one of your character here in this video.
Personally, in my opinion, the best end (late) gameplay would be: factional wars for territories and saving cities from waves of corruption... but here it is worth thinking about this: the speed of progression and the finiteness of the world-server... and I will start with the latter: on the one hand, no one really wants the finiteness of the world due to, say, the global mechanics of its absorption by "corruption", because starting over every time and leveling up a character is crazy. but on the other hand, having leveled up and dressed a character to the top, there are no more reasons to stay in the game, because the entire gameplay is built only around progression... and so we move on to the question of the speed of this progression... why is it so insanely fast? well, you can really raise the top level in a day and then equip the character in a week and that's it...if you don't want to level up all the branches with all the skills, then the game ends for you extremely quickly...and it turns out that 90% of the content up to the top level is "passing material" that you can simply skip without losses...and then you ask yourself: wouldn't it be better to make a more complex and comprehensive progression? let's say to start with, remove all the free stuff given out from everywhere and leave only crafted stuff, while making crafting more complex, when it would be necessary to knock out recipes from different sources and then resources would not just have their own places on the map, but would appear depending on the blood of corruption or global or local events... so that rare things would not fall from a horn of plenty, namely, that they were mined and crafted by the entire server... and still I think that the culmination should be how either the world either falls from corruption or is cleansed by the destruction of the source of this filth... this is what the gameplay in such a game should be in my opinion... and not just "level up in a week or two and jerk off dailies and co-op pvp for the sake of skins" =/
Damn. The glamour I want appears to only drop from Tempest at Mutation 3, which means I need to grind for essentially endgame gear before I can grind for the glamour? Did I read the database right? Can someone confirm the Isabella armor is only at the 695 level?
hm i’ve done the full main story + im max level. i’ve done full brines time and full wilds. i know i’ve completed full story but it isn’t popping up for me for some reason. any suggestions for help?
10:15 - How do you change the damage number location to display next to the health bar? I swear I searched the settings menu multiple times and just couldn't find anything related too it.
Brimstone seems broken no quests. 62 at moment and angry earth says unlock by quest in Corsacant in brimstone but no quest. Any suggestions or is finishing MSQ mandatory? I finished ebonscale.
Don’t understand gear score say im at 650 GS with all the right perks you’re telling me throwing on the highest GS items would make me stronger? Obviously not talking about losing 500+ armor or losing out on 200 dmg on a weapon. Just can’t justify throwing on random items on with perks i dont use to get my GS higher is there a Ingame mechanic that makes it to where if you dont have 695 the game gets harder because thats how youre making it seem like
So tired of their "fresh start" bullsh*t. It's not even an option if you want to play, since the legacy servers are more or less dead. It doesn't help that the event/trial thing is fresh start servers only. I really don't feel like re-grinding all of my progress a 3rd time, just because Amazon can't figure out the MMO concept.
Does anyone know how to get the faction quest "Trial of the Templar" to go from initate to Templar rank? I'm in the Covenant faction, level 32, 3,000 faction points capped because I need to go to the next rank but I can't find the quest for the trial anywhere and the quest indicator has me go to the Convenat enclave but no NPC is there that will give me the quest.
Jesus Christ just enjoy the game and move on if it doesn't hold you. People play 200 hours in a week and complain about lack of content. It's fucking nuts.
NW has stuff to do at max level, its just not enjoyable and time gated for rewards. AGS devs need to be fired and never allowed to work on games again.
I really love this game but tbh the fact that gear even matters in pvp is just dumb, expecially when its such an integral part of the game. It just makes no sense to me tbh. A lot of my favourite games are pvp and of them all everyone is in the same playing field which to me thats what makes pvp fun. I ligit have no motive to play pvp until i get a good gear set and even then, i just dont like the fact that perks and gear score number and all that even matters becuz it just means that ur gonna die in some situations just because someone had a better build and nothing to do with skill which is just lame af to me.
Why not help players? Lol. Your level 65. And there are players struggling. Drop some gear. Weapons. Be helpful. Show a kind gesture. I'm needing Armour, and better weapons. And tbh I don't know how to craft 🤷
