Q - Theiceman - via audizine - Hey Paul just curious .. is it the same tune for a B8 and B8.5 do you know the reason i ask is i got a unitronic tune on my b8.5 some time ago. i didnt really feel any difference. I was wondering if i got the wrong file or if it is the same tume you would not notice it as much if you were running a b8.5 A4 already ?

My Unitronic tuned Audi A4 made great power at low RPM, light throttle input, but my tuned 330i feels is very unresponsive in light/medium acceleration. I haven't been able to find a tune for my 330i that feels as good as my A4 felt.

Agreed. I don't feel any difference with my Stage 1+ Audi S3 until I hit 3500RPM.

damn I was about to buy a s3 and stage tune it because I heard they were decent for it, should I refrain from that in your opinion?

Hey Paul, great video. I have 2008 mkv GTI with manual transmission. What is the ideal shifting rpm's when going through the gears to feel the turbo kick in?

Turbo's typically put out peak power between 3500-5000rpm. If you google "2008 mk5 gti dyno" you will see unitronic and APR graphs showing stock horsepower and torque numbers for your car.

I have the 2019 GTI and purchased stage 2 software, but when I went to go tune my car there were no files on my Uniconnect cable So then I contacted Unitronic and they uploaded stage 2 file on my account but now it says "GLI" instead of GTI file and they haven't gotten back to me yet So I guess my question is, did Unitronic screw up by sending me wrong file? or is it safe to flash GLI file on my GTI?
