Oh my gosh thank you so much! I was crocheting and this new yarn I got started to get tangled! I couldn't get it untangled and I got so upset, there was a knot and I thought there was no way to finish the project! But to this I cut the knot, finished the sc until I was near the end of the discarded yarn! Then put the other end in like you showed! Worked great, seem less to, thank you!
Really enjoyed video. Just one question. I notice a lot of other videos, when changing color, or new yarn, stitch over the tails. Is the first method secure without. I notice it is a lot cleaner. I very much like the "first method". Thank you
Would this be the same technique used if I am trying to add a new ball of yarn since I ran out? I am making a solid granny square and have ran out of my first ball of yarn. The stitches I am doing are double crochet (US). Thank you for your help!
It would be the same as finishing whatever stitch you are working on. In the video, I'm making single crochets and on the last yarn over, I use the new yarn. You can do it for any stitch if you use it on the last yarn over!
