Loving anabolic so far! Between that and prime I have been making the best gains I have in the past decade. I'm going on a dream vacation in 5 months, but I'm going to have this body for a lifetime. Thanks fellas!
There have been a few episodes on fat body positivity and how it's encouraging people to be/stay unhealthy. But, this is not normal or healthy either. Thank you for being critical of this and for prioritizing strength in women. Women of reproductive age do these competitions and drop down into single digit BF percentage and go through periods of wild calorie restriction and exercising -- barely eating -- and then have her prance around on stage for a few minutes of fame. When the lights go out and the tanner is washed down the drain she's left a wreck -- endocrine system assaulted, hating herself for gaining weight on a frame that's starving for fuel, and arguably not better for the experience. I won't hide the fact that I'm, personally, not a fan of bikini but I think we've got to be equally critical of weight gain as we are crash diets and extreme weightloss. The goal should be sustainable health, wellness, fitness, and peace. Focus on strength and the physique will come. That's why I love listening to you guys.
Such a good podcast! I did a comp and your views on diet, food and body image changes a lot. I think it was you Sal that said in one of your podcasts that once you do a show you will never view your body the same.
It usually isn’t, likely in prep her fluids cycled vastly and she was using a bio impedance scale to check BF which is a roll of the dice when you use it normally let alone using it when trying to heavily cut
Love your podcast and agree with much of your real world experienced advice, however, there is currently no scientific evidence showing that reverse dieting works in the way that you claim here.
