@@Packxen I did restart the laptop (it didn't work) and i have no phone only a tablet and a school computer and the tablet would connect to the internet and my mom is refusing to fix it so Im stuck in a situation :,D
Uchiha Itachi Nope, I've had it for almost two years. I suspect that, because of the cold climate in my country, the battery has become defect. I was stupid enough to leave it close to an open window for an entire night. So I'm taking it to a service center.
My problem is around the 0:46 mark. The charger is plugged in, but i have to move the tip to the right spot, in order for it to work. What should I do?
Malyka Owusu I was playing a game And Suddenly i saw my battery is at 10%. I tried to plug in the charger but it wasn't charging. I shutted down my Laptop and treid again and still didn't charge, Now I can't charge it neither I can On it😢😢😂

+grggtgtgr tfutfutfutfu you can get an universal external battery charger for your laptop. if a dell laptop you got you have a dell charger to charge the battery. you might need to buy a new battery for laptop if does not charge.
how am I suppose to check the battery if 95% of laptops nowadays are made with a non removable battery ? it's like people haven't realized yet that we're in 21st century, 2018
Most of these tips are incredibly obvious for anyone who has so much as touched a computer. Another thing, Rebooting your computer after updating drivers is a myth and not necessary. I really expect more from a tech channel
OH MY GOODNESS! YOUR A LIFE SAVOR! I JUST GO TMY LAPTOP AND IT WAS NOT CHARGING. IT REALLY WORKED. TYSM!!!! BIG THANKS TO YOU DUDE. I have to like this video and subscribe AND turn on the bell. Your amazing!!!!!
My Acer Chromebook 11 has a problem. When I plug it the indicator says it’s charging but I’ve waited at least 24 hours and it’s stayed on the same battery percentage for that long.
I was playing a Game on my laptop and didn't noticed the battery but suddenly I saw battery was at 10%. I Plugged in the charger but it wasn't Charging, I tried but it still wasn't Charging. I shutted down my Laptop and Again plugged the charger, still not charging. *SO WHAT CAN I DO?!!* It's not charging neither I can On my laptop 😢😢 Help please Reply
A fast way to check the power unit is to use a volt meter at the end of the cable. Take car to not short the connector with the probes. There should be a label on the power supply indicating the voltage it puts out. The best check is to try a new power supply with new cables. If this does not fix it then obviously the fault is in the laptop. I found there were times when the connector inside of the laptop was not making contact to the circuit board. With the user often putting stress on the connector they made the solder connections between the connector pins and the circuit board to be broken. The fix is to take the laptop apart and re-solder the connections. In most laptops the solder connections are accessible, but the circuit board may have to be removed. Very time consuming. If you take your laptop for service, make sure the place you take it to can do proper soldering in the circuit board, and their tech people are qualified. Many of these places are not very good and they don't employ they level of people who can actually do repairs on devices other than swapping out circuit boards and not be sincere to the customers.
This video helped me. Thank you. I think my cord is broken inside. I wiggled it around, held it, propped it carefully at a bent angle when I saw the plug icon come on. I have a new plug on its way from amazon. Yippee
my laptop is not turning on and the light is not turning on when i put the charge in. and the laptop is a acer sinalUP that is what it says on the laptop can you help me.
Thank you. It was my battery it was corrupt or something I've removed it and it worked great. And the thing is my main pc had crashed and needed usb recovery and the laptop was not charging

Thank You I did every step because i did drop it before but that was not why it was because the wall socket by my bed is very lose i use the one by my door which is not lose the only problem is i haft to sit down on the floor to use it which sucks and it also flickers my lights and cut them off my house is very old though
I had my lap top for a while and it never fully charged. I always keep it plugged in because it never charges. I tried many different things but nothing worked. What should I do?
NOTE TO EVERYBODY: This is a very strange method, but it works efficiently. So to those laptops that aren’t dead, go to device manager, click on Batteries, disable the battery drivers, then reenable them. Thus, it will work. This works because it stops the battery and runs on the adapter. After that, it reconnects to the battery and charges it again.
i did that and it doesnt solve the problem. My adaptor is alive. I checked the voltage and the current and surprisingly, there're still voltages and currents running through it. But whenever i plugged it in to my laptop, nothing happened. pls help. ( i have two laptops which uses the same type of adaptor. I tested this adaptor with the both laptops. it turns out that both arent charging. As i said before, there're still voltages and currents in there but somehow it doesnt charge my laptop.)
*Please Help* I tried all your tips and none of them worked, my problem is that when I plug in my charger the led light turns on and I can also turn on the laptop but even when the charger is plugged in and the led glows the battery percentage goes down.. please explain
Not a single reference to the DC jack possibly just in need of a replacement, sure it's a bit tricky but it's usually a doable task even if it can take a long time unscrewing everything etc and putting it back.
Online people say that I should take out the battery and the charger then reset my laptop, but if i take out the battery it automatically shuts down and doesn’t turn on without it. What should I do?
Thank u 😭 I was checking the cable and I didn't know the wire connected to the transformer brick could be removed on mine, mine came a little loose so that's why it wasn't working ❤️ thx
Ik i am years behind but this video was soooo helpful...when u said check my cord I thought it was good but it had an unknown tiny scissors cut on it...I'm happy bcuz all I had to do was play with it and it came on...thanks alot
I just test something and it work for me.The first way i found is if your laptop is shutdown you can plug it and is actualy charging. The second way i found is shutdown your laptop while is shuting down unplug and while is opening plug it in my opinion it workd
I smelled every single spot of the laptop and the charger but I could find the battery so I had to get a hammer and try to dig it out but I think my laptop broke😩......jk!😜
for everyone whose laptops not charging simply remove the battery from the laptop then charge it so you can turn on the device..then see if the laptops turning on and if it does remove the charging put the battery back and try turning it on even after that if it doesn't charge uninstall drivers and restart it..this is work for sure, I did it on my Lenovo S340 by myself with my brother.
@@emmysbear battery could have died due to something like old age, and might not be able to hold a charge anymore. You can usually buy one online for cheap.
