In this video, we are continuing our Miami travel vlog 2021. In this video we will show you where we stay in North Miami, where we get a beautiful house with a huge backyard and a private pool, a separate apartment with bathroom and kitchen and an amazing outdoor entertaining area. We chose to stay in this Airbnb because it has a great location, and you can reach downtown Miami, South Beach, Wynwood, Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale in less than 20 minutes.
During our stay in Miami 2021, we got to experience one of the must do things in Miami - The Jungle Queen Riverboat. The boat tour takes us down the "Venice of America" through the New River waterways in Fort Lauderdale and Millionaire's Row with homes of the rich and famous. After the river cruise, we stop at a private location for a wonderful all you can eat BBQ Ribs dinner and a show with dancers, magicians, singers and more. We absolutely loved the experience so if you are wondering what to do in Miami and want a unique experience while in Miami Florida, make sure to check them out.
The next morning we try a more local Miami activity and take a stroll through the South Point Park, which is the southern most part of South Beach. In South Point, you can rent a bike, go kayaking, take a walk, eat at a nice restaurant overlooking the water and marvel at the beautiful houses on the neighboring island - Fisher Island - one of the most expensive zip codes in the US.
When visiting Miami 2021, you can choose to stay in different locations, depending on what you are looking for:
Downtown Miami is pretty popular with people that come to conferences or are in town for business, and people who love shopping. The new Brickell City Center Mall is a beautiful complex with hundreds of shops , restaurants, cinema and more. Downtown Miami is also a place where most of the big events like Ultra Music Festival take place.
Crossing the bridge, you have Miami Beach which is a more expensive place with a younger crowd, and is perfect if you are looking for great night life, restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping on Lincoln Road.
If you are looking for a more family friendly area of Miami to spend your vacation, you can go towards north, to Miami Shores or Sunny Isles on the beach. You will also find a lot of activities, things to do in Miami, shopping, water-sports and more, but it will be less crowded then Miami Beach.
If you want to skip Miami altogether, you can go to Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach. You can find a lot of water related activities in these areas, so if you want to do some fishing, these are the places to go to.
A great tip for things to do in Miami 2021 is to take a 2 or 3 days cruise. There are a lot of cruises leaving from Miami or Fort Lauderdale to multiple locations in the Caribbean, Latin America or Mexico, so take advantage of the last minute low price deals.
