When I saw the skeleton curse…THAT became my journey. Boy was it long, difficult, and even stressful at times. But that ride down the elevator into the Reaper’s Lair and taking part in the Ritual of the Flame is something I will NEVER forget.
@papalo007 The big difference between Minecraft and say Terraria is the amount of vertical progression there is. Minecraft is mostly horizontal (do as you please, build a base, a farm, a smelting array, another base, a whole village). These are all tasks that you decide to do or don't do. While in Terraria, there's a lot of vertical progression locked behind progression. I'm not saying there is no vertical progression in minecraft, but objectively, it's a horizontal based progression system. There's no push to fight bosses in Minecraft. Sure, you unlock better stuff, fighting the wither, for example. But, you don't have to do any of that. The same thing could be said about Terraria, except a noob wouldn't have the knowledge to hold progression back in Terraria. When the game is open , the odds are that the progression will be horizontal. At least a bit of it, to keep you hooked while and after you have been progressing through the vertical. In this game, SoT, it's all about cosmetics. In Minecraft, it's all about what you build.
I would really like to see new Guild emissary ship cosmetics and/or trinkets for your ship coinciding with the level 40 and upward ones for your pirate themself
What if I've already unlocked all the cosmetics I really wanted? lol, the only things left I really want are the skelly and ghost curses but hour glassing gets pretty tiring after a while. Especially solo or with open crews.
Its a sandbox game geared towards experiences with crew, friends or otherwise. Its not about ticking off cosmetics or acheivements and if it is for you you will tire of it quickly
Love the game and never struggle to find endless stuff to do but the constant crashes on ps5 are intolerable think ill be requesting a refund tomorrow, honestly gutted cause i love the game
I'm struggling to launch the game too. But that's cuz the shitty Xbox app decided once a week it just doesn't want to work anymore and I have to jump threw like 50 hoops for it to work.
I bought game day 1 .. started playing last month 😂 it's got me now hook line and sinker.. but tutorial to blame.. you need to go straight into safer seas, and then when you reach a point, you get stuck. That's when you opt for tutorial.. everyone i know just rushes into game noting nothing like captain desk 😂
Beating sea of thieves is when you get all the dark adventurer gear and realize it all looks like crap and wasn’t worth it. Then and only then you have beat sea of thieves
I've had this game since 2018, and it wasn't until this year that I finally found my path forward. Took six years to make pirate legend, and still having fun.
Yeah you can, You’ll just have to complete all the commendations for the heart of fire tall tale which there’s a lot of videos explaining how to get it that are really descriptive and short.
I think modern games have caused people to need constant feedback from games to show "progression" (battle passes, rewards, loot crates, etc). This is fantastic advice!
