When I went on my first date, I was expecting me to be headstrong and confident and the girl who asked me out to be extremely nervous... Within minutes it was the other way around. I was so nervous, I was literally shaking. Not just a little, it was like I had just been in the freezing cold. 😂 Honestly, it was really funny!

I just went on a first date with someone who has social anxiety. We didn't hug or kiss, we didn't even eat lunch because she couldn't talk to the person at the counter. We just walked, talked a lot, laughed and watched Ant-Man. We didn't kiss or hug at the end of the date though. She kinda just left suddenly and said goodbye. She later texted me saying sorry she left so quickly. Should i ask her out again?

I went on my first date yesterday to watch American Ultra. I already knew who she was, but the last time i saw her was back in 4th grade, i gave her a rose, card, and a heart shaped lollipop for Valentine's day during my time in that grade. Anyways back to the topic, we were suppose to watch the 7:50 showing, but she arrived late and so we had to wait for the10:25 showing which was pretty good because I got to talk to her and find out more about her. I was pretty overwhelmed because she dated so many different dudes and brokeup with all of them, we had dinner at taco bell and burger king, i bought that Ghost pepper taco while she got #13 from BK. When i was leaving (cuz she was dropping me off >.>) i didn't hug nor kiss her in the cheek because I wasn't really ready to do that and when i remembered to do it, it was too late. I was pretty much that guy who ends up with that asian chick who dated a bunch of dudez fron that abc show called "Mixlogolgy" some shit like that. Lol

I have social anxiety so I can understand from her point of view. If you want to hang out with her, hang out with her (and not because you feel sorry for her for having anxiety). It takes a bit longer than most people for socially anxious people to open up.

I'm 15. I have a crush on a shy and quiet guy but I do not want to be in a relationship of as right now until when I'm 17 (after my o levels). The people in the comments section are mostly young kids trying to get into a relationship and dating. But sometimes you don't want to go so far first, take little steps while you are still young. You don't have to reject a guy you like. Just wait until you are older, and if he move past you then he isn't the right one and you'll be Glad you didn't waste time on him. And if he is still there trying to win your heart and you know that you are old enough to make a decision following your heart then go ahead. You may face a few breakups, the first might not be the smoothest. Or who knows, he may be the man of your life. Just take baby steps don't dive into it too fast, sometimes you end up with a major heartbreak instead :(

Best thing I did before going on my date was talking to my mom and dad about my fears and concerns regarding the date. For the guys, I want to really highlight the Exercise tip. It makes you confident and happy, which girls like, and it gives you that post-workout pump that makes you look and feel a step above. Just make sure to do it well before the date time, so you have time to SHOWER!! and prepare.

This is waaaaay too involved. A 'worksheet' about yourself? Exercise? Our grandparents went on dozens of dates in a year. A date shouldn't have anything to do with a relationship - just see if a person fits. Like trying on shoes. If it seems promising, you go on another. No need to load it up with pressure. And yes, 'be yourself' goes without saying; it's really a way of saying don't front, boast, or signify (unless you're very charming and funny about it, and can go back to being on the level).

If you're nervous, tell your date. It will break the ice and make you vulnerable, thats attractive. Chances are if they are nervous they will tell you too and you can be nervous together!

masterbrezzey She said she only said yes to not hurt my feelings and she doesn't really like me in that way. I'm pretty much over it, but only as of like three weeks ago. It hit me pretty hard but we still talk, even though all my friends say she is a horrible person for doing that to me. Their initial reactions were worse than mine, but I was never mad at her. I have a huge crush on someone but I just can't bring myself to ask him out. I'm afraid he will say no or that we are to young. I also never try to talk to him because then he will know. Im afraid that if he knows he will think im a creep and will never like me ever. I already saw your video about how to ask someone out but I just can't do it. Woman up. Better an ending (good or bad) than an eternal "if only I had..." Seriously. Woman up and ask him. If he says no, just shrug and pretend it's no big deal (then go home and cry for 5 hours while eating 5 pounds of chocolate.) And you will get over it. Seriously! I thought I would never get over some of my crushes - but you will and you will be stronger for it. Just ask, and take what happens (but prepare the chocolate just in case...^^)
