I LOVE hearing Andy say “become an actor“. I spent 20 years as a Marine officer, I used to tell my lieutenants, and then my captains; “leadership is theater”. It’s not that you are a fruity gleeful thespian. It’s just that you have to embody and act as that person that can inspire people. Now as I scale a company, I see it the same way. Ultimately, you have to be what people need. If it’s not natural to you, or you have to play the part.

Im in oilfield sales, and I feel that Andy and I would take over the world, if we were on the same team. I've often thought about starting my own sales training, but intercompany. Maybe you and I will cross paths one day, bud. I recently found you, Andy, and I'm happy there are other killers AND helpers out there. I never thought of using my personality and sales skills to train others and also get paid for it...great concept, bud. You're doing great, and I hope we cross paths one day, so I can shake your hand. (A lot of people dont realize how much you're doing for them, FOR FREE. If they listen and follow your instructions, they can literally make more money and improve their lives. How many friends do they have that can do that for them?) These tips are understood among natural salesmen, but this knowledge is crucial and PRICELESS for others that dont know about it. Andy is 100% doing huge favors with this stuff. If I’m in the dealership and I’m at the point where I’m test driving there is a high likelihood I’ve already landed on the correct vehicle. As a buyer, I would never buy a car the same day I test drive. My goal is to get out of my emotional head and into my analytical head. I only want to know the total out the door price and do not even want to discuss a trade which is a separate transaction. My job as a buyer is to keep control. This all being said, your videos are excellent if I were selling cars and can see why you do very well. I’ve bought 2 new cars in the past 2 years and made multiple visits to the dealer to do so.

A ton better than some Of the shorts I’ve seen. They come off less detailed and seems you don’t mention how much you have to prove and read the customer to ensure your on the right vehicle that fix’s all their needs and reiterating the fact your listening and they can trust you. These are things I didn’t care of in the Cardone training basically he seems just to switch up scripts and add more pressure in different ways and you can’t always attack the customer like that. You want to lead but at times let the customer lead themselves to the decision if you’ve done the entire first part of it all right and are hitting all needs and staying close to the range most the time you get the mental bump going on ahead of time too like parking the new car next to their old car or reviewing all the ways in which the new gives them more than their existing car and is exactly everything they are wanting…. If you can attach it to values like safety for your family or peace of mind with a warranty or mpg so your saving money to make your dreams or families dreams come true. Once you get the yes to show them numbers be fast and show your an expert again not just a friend.

When I was buying my car, I went to another dealership to see if they had a better option. We told the two salesmen there about the car we previously looked at, and because they didn't have the exact one at there dealership, they told us to go back to the other place and buy the other car. I was so surprised that two salesmen told me to leave and take my business elsewhere instead of perhaps showing me why they had better options for me at their dealership. They were nice and caring I suppose but they came up empty handed. And I would say that I am a low threshold customer so it wouldn't have taken them much to persuade me otherwise.
