I'm just curious why GEICO call's me about an accident from 2017 and they asked if they could record me I said sure and I asked if I could record the same conversation and they hung up on me ? That's so rude I seriously don't understand why anyone ?
I agree ClockFixer. I am in Canada and my son has been battling insurance for over 3 years after he broke his neck in a very serious rollover. We can't afford a lawyer. Even though my son was earning $59 an hour, they have put him through the wringer. I commented just above you...it's a doozy! I hope you haven't had to suffer at the hands of Insurance companies also.

I am so sorry that is happening to you, my son too feels the same way, in our province he was in a vehicle with the highest package policy, a no fault insurance. So far he has been severely abused by this system, he broke his neck and they wanted him back at work 6 months later. He suffers PTSD his head was smashed into the ground and the vehicle as it went end over end repeatedly. With such force his neck was broke but they are denying he had a head injury! In this no fault system here, so far he is the only one that is being blamed! I sure hope your company stops treating you like the criminal and my son too!

I just had a appointment with the insurance Dr on Monday, these people would write in a report if your legs were lost they would grow back. For your sons sake you have to keep fighting they want you to give up and push you to see what they can get away with. They cut me off my LTD in June 2018 contacted my work and informed my work I was returning, try getting a call at 8am from your work wondering where I am. It's criminal the way they treat you but they know they push 10 people to the brink 9 will give up and head back to work when clearly they shouldn't.tell your son NOT TO GIVE UP KEEP FIGHTING.
These no fault state accidents /laws will always find it’s way back to make us pay in someway or another whether getting a new quote with another company or making a change to your existing policy! It’s criminal they make us pay for their crimes!

Dear MattLaw: Thank you so much for sharing. I am in Canada and I sure wish you were in my city :( I am a disabled 49 year old woman, in 2015 My Eldest son Dan was in a serious MVA rollover. His seatbelt failed, his head had smashed through the glass, hitting the frame and he was crushed repeatedly into the ditch as the little car went end over end. He survived and is a walking miracle he was determined to not let a broken neck stop him from his goals. Just prior to the accident he was just recovering from a left torn shoulder labrum, a work injury that he had to fight for months to prove and he finally got surgery. He was determined to get back to work as a Journeyman Electrician. He was pushed very hard and just six months after the car accident and reinjuring his shoulder, breaking his neck, severe issues with his back, legs, arms and left ankle. He was deemed ready to go back to work! People who break their leg often get longer times off. His body was definitely not ready and an appeal ensued. Even though my son walked after that horrific accident and was doing very well, just 8 months after the accident he was severely abused by the very hospital that had saved his life only 8 month's earlier. He has been stuck in a Nightmare ever since. In 2016 he had what was believed to be H1N1 and he was given an antibiotic known to cause issues for some people. He was very sick for two weeks he was unable to sleep well, was dehydrated, vomiting etc. Two weeks into his flu he had a long awaited appointment to see a a new Dr. to address the PTSD he was experiencing from his MVA. He was doing his best to deal with it but felt he needed counselling and had to prove to the Provincial Auto Insurance that he did in fact have PTSD. He refused to reschedule his appt. because he had waited months. The Dr. having never met him, not aware of his baseline and not being told he had the flu decided he was in need of Antipsychotics, she advised the family Dr. to prescribe these meds and within 3 doses my son was taken by police and ambulance to a local hospital. He was severely adversely reacting, through errors entered by the exhausted ER Dr. they forcibly detained him for 6 weeks, imposed several more medications that he reacted to severely. We have a Genetic disorder that at the time was not fully diagnosed yet but the Dr.'s would not even acknowledge this. The Disorder causes us to not metabolize many Pharmaceuticals. The Dr.'s completely ignored his history, they kept telling us we were in denial they didn't even believe he broke his neck. We immediately felt they had wrong information in the file. We requested repeatedly to have access to my son's file and we were delayed till several weeks after he was released 6 weeks later under an illegal Community Treatment Order that was filled out wrong. If my son were not living this, I would not believe it myself. We found out there is another patient with the same name who is a regular Psychiatric Patient and know now that they confused my son with this other patient. A referral was even sent for the other patient with my sons phone number on it a year and a half after we got him away from the illegal CTO order and the forced medication that took several appeals in a very biased appeal system run by the hospital and for the hospital. The patient 'appointed' lawyer informed us she has been there 7 years and there is only a 2% chance of patient's winning their appeals. Clearly we chose not to go with the 'appointed' lawyer and the biased panel was very frustrating but we won and 6 months of abuse stopped but the PTSD skyrocketed. My Son is very Tired, our Rare disorders have gotten the best of me. I am fighting on my own. The file has not been addressed properly. My son was cut off 2 years ago from any further payment despite him finally receiving a proper PTSD diagnosis in 2017 almost 2 years after the accident. Despite the long waited diagnosis of the rare disorder Ehlers Danlos Syndrome a connective tissue disorder that was not acknowledged by many physicians and had severe detrimental effects on my son. The medications he was forced are highly contraindicated with our Genetics and complaints are going in with the College of Physicians for several Dr.'s. My son is at his breaking point and I am doing my best to fight for him, I have brain lesions and am very weak, I don't know if my health will hold out. We pleaded with them to get this to appeals so my son can finally rest his very broken body that will never mend because of genetics and the forced physio that further damaged his tendons and ligaments. Of course and the Spin Dr.'s now are now shouting Pre Existing condition. Uh no! Prior to the accident he didn't even know he had this, the injuries are caused from the accident. EDS did not cause his injuries....omg they sure do grasp at any straws. Well I just thought I'd share this in the hopes of maybe you have a Cousin up in Canada who happens to be a Darn good Lawyer that you could Highly recommend. I know I'm now grasping at Straws but when you's Po Folk up in Canada it's hard to get a Lawya even when you got all the Defence in the World! Well I keep Hoping cause now after 2 years stalling, just like you Said Mr. Matt Law the Insurance company wants another Independent Medical Exam done and want to send the Hospital file to the Psychiatrist. The insurance company knows he has PTSD they have exacerbated him as he is now seriously in debt and about to lose everything. The File is full of errors right from the MVA accident report saying the car did a 180 and reversed into the ditch! From beginning to end the file is riddled with errors. I am sorry I am just so overwhelmed I have reached out all over the world but clearly we are touching to many nerves in our Gov't. Cause I have called so many places, emailed etc. No one replies. Or when they do they say sorry hope you can find help for your son. So that ends my story of a Young Man who had everything he was on top of the world and he was going places! Most Dr.'s are pretty mad when they hear he was making $59 an hour and double time on the weekends. Now he makes nothing and can never...no wonder the insurance company doesn't want to pay him out!

I just got in a wreck Tuesday of last week. I was on a one way street and some kid was flying off the interstate and tboned me. He didn't stop for the yield sign or anything. I call his insurance company I filed a claim with them . Somebody gave me a call back but missed it and now I keep calling and no one answers. Thanks for this information. I'm bout to lawyer up.

Man I hate insurance companies. There should be laws that ensure that an independent attorney investigate every claim that’s filed, and that that attorney is paid for by the insurance company.
Very informative & offers me (hopefully) an initial tactic to push back on the insurance company. Woman hit my older (paid for) truck and subrogating through my insurance company who wants to total my truck for a paltry settlement sum. They even boast a link to their "...Auto Buying Program..." where vehicles of similar age, mileage, and model show several examples 4x the cost of their initial settlement offer. If I even negotiate their offer to total the vehicle up by double I still am, at best, halfway to replacing my vehicle.
Good for you for doing your research and not letting them push you around. You might tell them you will keep your vehicle. But don't let them have the title, they will probably try to say your car is totaled and only worth salvage, and this may affect your ability to get a tag.
I don't know if we can stand more government services. Right now, the insurance lobby is huge, and they get what they want most of the time. In most states the "Insurance Commissioner" is hand picked by the insurance company, supported and ultimately elected. And they are supposed to regulate the insurance companies and their practices. As a trial lawyer, I hope to educate the public, so jurors know what is really going on.
Geico is refusing to pay. My kids got there car stolen at school and then a month later car recovered at school a student arrest and now geico is refusing to pay for the damaged car. The arrest student drove the car around and got into an accident. Still 5 months nothing. Can I just file a small claims?
Yes, file a small claims case. You may be able to get a good lawyer, because, if you sue your own insurance company for benefits in Florida, you get your attorney fees paid by Geico if you win. Good luck.
Great video. I was a victim of a hit and run in Los Angeles. I have a dashcam of the accident and the driver fleeing the scene. I was able to get a license plate number and file a police report (which takes up to 45 days to be approved). My insurance didn't fight for me, law enforcement didn't help me and the at fault insurance is claiming 60/40 without viewing video. I unfortunately gave a statement to both insurance companies but I feel the video should trump all of that. My representation says if they give me 90% then they'll take it which still won't satisfy me because everything on video is clear. My insurance closed the case saying that I have 0% liability. What should I do and what should I tell me current representative?
Sorry to hear about you being victimized by a hit and run driver, then their insurance company. I would have a discussion with your attorney and discuss the pros and cons of filing suit and letting a jury decide.
Thank you for your video Matt , I do have a concern my lawyer filed a demand letter 2 months ago and I still don’t have news and they do have everything medical , X-ray, MRI , I have been on medication for 2 years for my low back and my neck, I don’t know what’s going on .
Please contact your attorney and ask them what they plan to do if the insurance company does not make a fair offer. I am sure they will want to file a suit for you.
Someone hit my parked car. Their insurance company took full company responsibility. However they didn’t let me know until Friday afternoon causing me to miss work on Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday until the body shops open up. They claimed my car was drive-able and i could have driven to work. I told them I didn’t know the extent of damage until the body shop took a look at it. They say they don’t owe me lost wages

We are in Texas, and the claim was denied by the other party’s insurance. I told them I got a video from the gas station showing their client was at fault and they said I need to email them a copy of that video. I explained that I can’t because the file is too big. They said well until you provide additional information, the claim is denied. I don’t know any attorneys that might take the case, because it’s an older car and a small value, but it was totaled. I don’t know i What to do.
Sometimes you have to file suit on your own and show the video to the judge. If you bring your own claim by filing your own suit they will take you seriously.
I have 4 herniated discs. 2 in my neck. 4 in my back. I cannot even get up from bed without being in excruciating pain. The insurance company is saying my car damage isn't big enough yet I never in my life had these injuries prior. I lost my job, my health insurance and now they want me to pay for treatment. I am emotionally drained and feel like I am getting nowhere and totally screwed. There are so many people who lie and cheat and yet I am in pain and this has ruined a huge portion of my life yet I'm not getting help. Sorry to hear about your injuries Angelina. But there are good trial lawyers out there that will fight for you. The best way to find a good trial lawyer in your area is to look up the results of the jury trials in your county. Most counties have a local bar association that keeps track of each trial. Find this information, and then call the lawyers that are trying cases in your area. They won't be afraid to try a low property damage case. I"m going thru it right now. My car was totaled. The "kid" that hit me was ticketed with Reckless. He had Drugs in his vehicle, was suspected under the influence, I had 3 Witnesses give their statements all coraborating that he HIT me. His "fly-by-night" insurance claims only 20% fault. They are Delaying, Denying, and Defending for sure! I am out of pocket on my vehicle and medical bills. Problem with a Legal complaint is that it will DRAG on for Years!
The new tactic being taken by many insurance companies is to deny 100% of the fault even though it is clear that their insured was totally at fault. This is a new trend which is saving the insurance companies millions if not billions. This works because many lawyers won't file suit and go all the way to trial. Talk to your lawyer and tell them you want to file suit and move forward with your case. If they are jerking you around now, why not get the ball rolling where you will have control of your case, rather than trying to convince and adjuster that they should accept 100% fault. Thank you. I am submitting a demand letter to the Ins. Co for compensation/settlement and giving them a 72 hour response time limit from the certified letter date. Also telling them I will file with a Good Trial lawyer if no response from them. I am seeing tons of Dr's and other professionals. My lawyer knows this case is a Winner........but again, it's just the TIME that it takes to go from start to completion. I would much rather settle and be DONE with them!

This is one of the most common problems I see with insurance companies. They tend to just say we are only paying for X, and we won't pay for Y. When they are wrong, like in your situation, you have to either take what they offer, or you have to file suit to fully protect your rights.
Cause example in texas you are owed reasonable transportation example you drive a bmw m5 than you get a toyo camry. Only time they will pay more if you have a handicap car than ins will pay for same kind. Now California is diff you are for same car size example you drive an suv than u are entitled to an suv not a 4 door sedan

Hello there Matt. I have waited for almost 2 years to hear anything about my claim..I have 6 ruptured disks in my back and 2 bulging disks in my neck. I've had to pay for medical treatment on my own and have bills that are now in collection..bills that the insurance company should be paying in Lou of the at fault driver..who admitted full fault on the scene. I'm in pain. Lost my job because I can no longer work physical labor. There are things that happened that aren't right and I've had to point these things out. Ive reached out to the people who are supposed to be taking care of the situation but my calls are hardly ever answered. I've been so stressed out and depressed because of all of this. I've searched and searched high and low to find SOMEONE I can talk to who will give me sound advice. Advice that comes from years of knowledge and advice that comes from someone who knows the ins and outs of this industry so I can have SOME kind of relief in knowing my questions can be answered. If you want to really fight this, you would have to consider filing suit against the at fault driver and car owner. It may not be worth the time and effort. But, you have the right to ask a jury or a judge to decide who is at fault and what are the damages. Good luck. Matt

I am a car insurance claims handler in the UK. I can't believe how different the system is in the USA. We get praise from our managers if we settle a claim quickly and we get a company wide shout out and put in for a prize draw if we pay our policy holder within 24 hours of notification of the accident!
You errrm forfgot to say that offers from insurance companies are way way lower than they ought to be, always, in my experience; they want desperate (often poor) people to 'accept' so they can close the claim at rock bottom price and move on to making yet more money out of us; they dump us & walk away if we have nobody to help us fight the case - as happens to most of us if we aren't wealthy.

First, contact the police, they should have the information for you. Second contact your insurance company and tell them what happened and get them involved.
I bought auto insurance through Geico yesterday, the insurance started immediately the same day, and within 90 minutes of driving the car off the lot fully insured, I break down on the side of the road. I call Geico for a tow truck, and they told me the insurance doesn't go into effect until the next day. So I paid them $200+ upfront, only to have to pay $100 to the tow truck driver. This should be illegal to do, because I paid them for auto insurance, they said it went into effect immediately, yet they turned around and changed their story when I needed them. So if I got pulled over yesterday and was asked for proof of insurance, and I provided it to the Police Officer, would I be arrested for driving without Insurance? That's screwed up. It's sad we live in a day and age where money is supposed to talk and bs is supposed to walk, yet we get crapped on after coughing up money.
Hi Mobile, to answer your question about being arrested, it is not likely that you would be arrested only for failing to provide proof of insurance. As far as when the policy started and the promises Geico made to you, I suggest you file a complaint with the Department of Insurance in your state. Good luck to you.
I had dental insurance for months that gave me documentation that clearly stated they cover 80% of medical costs for the services I received. I was clearly covered under the dates of service and they've dragged their feet for months and months. Now they're claiming they're denying the claims bc they received duplicates (bc they're not paying). They still owe my dentist about $1,000

Why would after a settling with the at fault party to its maximum limits(limited liability release) would the plaintiff's own underinsured carrier want to still depose their own insured ?
They typically take the deposition of their insured customer to challenge the facts of the crash, and more importantly to challenge the injuries and the causation opinion by the doctors. They look for ways to blame other people or things for your damages.

They want all of the information to go one way, and that is toward themselves, and not to you. Interestingly enough at least in Florida, if someone takes a statement from you, you have the right to a copy of it. They never seem to send a copy. This is why it is so important to have a lawyer who asks for things and quotes the statutes that give you the power to learn things like what are the policy limits, and how to get your own statement.
Because also consent rules. If u want to proceed with claim than recorded statement is needed vs you recording claims dept some adjuster don't mind but u will get a scripted answers and also phone recording is 2 way consent.
I have a question. The at fault driver keeps lying to their insurance company about what happened the day of the accident. I was not at fault and the other party received a citation. Their insurance made me pay 30 percent for an accident that WASN'T MY FAULT. My lawyer is fighting hard for me to get back everything I paid and more, but her insurance company keeps making up lies about what happened that day and why they are advocating for their insured. At this point, I feel I need to take the lady to court, sue her for damages and medical bills and let her insurance pay. Do you think this is best solution?

I went to several chiropractors because the impact affected my back. I have documentation from my doctors who treated me. I took pics of my car. The other person got my car fix. I have to attend mediation and the persons insurance refuse to pay for my loss wages, medical bills. I was the victim and this is a bad situation for me. I think the best thing to do is go to court. I pan to refuse the offer during mediation because I already as you mentioned they are looking at the impact of my car versus bodily injury. All this time from 2016 til 2021. I am very upset can I call u for advice. Mediation is next week . I am in SC , or could you offer me advice about what I should do during mediation or should i just go to court. I am not willing to drop this and take a offer. The other person had Geico and my attorney is saying the person max is 25000.00 I believe it’s way more than this, I never saw any documents for the other persons insurance. Then my lawyer told me if we go to court that I would have to pay for my chiropractor , people from my previous jobs to speak in the court room for my side, I don’t believe this is true. There is a battle between my homeowners insurance and the HOA insurance both insurance companies are saying the other insurance company needs to pay. I think the HOA insurance should pay the bulk of the repair because the bylaws say I'm only responsible for maintaining the inside of my unit/I'm not responsible for my neighbors unit, the Washington State Condo act says the HOA is the primary insurer and I pay the HOA way more per month than I pay the homeowner insurance company. One of the insurance companies will have to pay because I don't have enough money to pay the repairs out of pocket, if they throw the cost on me the repairs won't get done. The sad thing is if I hadn't been paying the HOA $436 a month for the past 3 years I probably would have enough cash to pay these repairs out of pocket. I'm frustrated because its been 2.5 weeks now, mold is starting to grow and the 2 insurance companies can't seem to reach a compromise. I really wish I did not live under a HOA and only had to deal with 1 insurance company dealing with 2 insurance companies is impossible. One of the insurance companies is trying to say I was negligent but the water leak was an accident I was not trying to cause damage. I'm selling my condo at a slight loss as soon as this repair is done. I realize that once I get out of the housing market I won't be able to get back into the housing market but this insurance mess has left me more stressed than I've ever been in my life and I'd rather rent then deal with another mess like this one. I'm in the process of converting a Van into a camper maybe I won't need to rent.

I was t-boned while I was in a Uber and the police report was stating that my Uber driver was wrong . He was making a left turn in a no left turn area. I also believe the other driver is wrong because he had plenty of time to stop but he didn’t, I know for a fact he was on his phone. Would I be able to sue both insurances? I have 7 injured discs in my spine.

Someone hit my parked car on Christmas Eve. I got the police report , had the policy number of the person who hit my car ,and open the claim with the insurance who at fault. After 15 days of waiting , I called the insurance company and the lady who in charged my case. They denied my claim. Which I don’t understand at all , they supposed to pay me. now I have to claim my own insurance and pay $ 500 deductible out of my pocket. Should I file the law suit ? Is it worth to pay for lawyer if the cost of fixing my car around $5000 ? I really have no idea how much for the lawyer fee. I feel very sad because that was not my fault at all.

Car Damage needed dents windshield all around damage . The insurance company says we had a $2000 Dollar Deductable we thought it was 200 at most well we got denied unless we pay 2000 . When did we ever want a Deductible that high did not know it even existed . Anyone know how to fix .
Talk to your insurance agent and ask them why your deductible is so high. If you really have a high deductible, they still have to pay anything over the $2,000.00.

Look for an attorney in your area to help you. The only thing that may cut off your rights is the statute of limitations to bring your claim. Be careful because some states have time limits that are very short. Call an experienced attorney in your area and find out today.

Hi Matt Law..... What about an insurance company or agent like Allstate who gives a person a policy, draws up the contract, issues cards but says the policy isn't effective until by a certain date? But the person gets into an accident before that date then they don't Honor the policy.?? Ever heard of that kind of shady trick??
Sadly, many insurance companies don't make the policy effective immediately. Some do, some don't. If the loss happens before midnight then you are out of luck, and uninsured.
Thanks Matt for breaking things down in this video. My sister's vehicle was stolen and vandalized but recovered with severe damages two weeks later. At first the insurance adjuster had agreed to pay the full amount of the estimated damages, but delayed until 9 weeks later she requested for more documents to know whether there may have been any mechanical conditions from when the car was bought up to when it was stolen, Of course there was non. Then the adjuster refused to respond and an one of their appraisers promised to make two third of what the adjuster initially promised and later refused. Two days later, the adjuster emailed her that she's mailing a check that will cover only about 10 percent of the damage cost. Is it cost worth getting a lawyer for a $2k damage? If so, can a lawyer's cost be charged and paid by the insurance company in the suit? Or can she file a suit by herself considering if she would have to pay a lawyer. Your opinion please.
Hi JMJ, The answer is yes, it is worth it for her to hire a lawyer who would sue her own insurance company. Because in most states, when you have to sue your own insurance company, you are entitled to attorney fees. I am in the process of writing a book to help people like your sister. It will explain the steps she needs to take to file suit on her own. However, the way you explained this to me, I do believe she can hire an attorney who will work on a contingency fee. Good luck. The laws about where you file your suit may vary from state to state. In Florida you can file suit anywhere any one of the Defendant resides or has a regular place of business (if a company) or where the accident happened. In Florida, we can only sue the insurance company directly when we are suing our own Uninsured / Underinsured motorist insurance company. Your question asked if you could sue the insurance agency. In Florida, we are not allowed to name the insurance company directly for the negligence of their insured, we have to sue the actual car owner, or driver, or employer and not their insurance company. It seems strange that we can't sue the insurance company, but a long time ago, the legislature in Florida passed a law saying that we were not to name the insurance company as the defendant because it might give a jury the feeling that since we are suing an insurance company, the jury might award more money.
what do I do a couple weeks ago there was a big pothole in the middle of the road and I tried overcorrecting it the car malfunction and the brakes lock causing it too spin out I hit the car against the rallings and they said it's a total loss they are trying too deny my claim making it harder for me

But here is my dilemma which is that I didn't 'kick' my children out of the house as soon as they turned 16 and got their license. That's right, this is exactly what my 20 years + Insurance company told me when my son rear ended another car after borrowing the family car. I have full coverage, but because I didn't get the "notice in the mail" that the Insurance company supposedly sent stating that "Children living in your house who borrow the family car will NOT be covered if they get in an accident." OK, now what? Well now my teen son is responsible for not only the family car that is under and always had "good Full Coverage Insurance", but the other car also, including any injuries the other driver may have had, (or will have in the future that a doctor can say was caused by this accident). So I asked my Agent as to how much more is it to add my son to my car insurance? He figured it all out, and it was $3,000 + MORE a year. Well, for a family of four, living and raising two kids on under $30,000 a year income, that is just totally out of our reach. Here is the solution they offered: "Get rid of your kids as soon as they turn 16! Just kick them out of the house, and let them get their own car insurance. But ANYONE, .. as long as they are not living under our roof, like neighbors, my children's friends, relatives etc. can borrow my car, and should they get into an accident, they would be covered. That's right, Except for my own children, because they are living under my roof, even if going full time school, .. after they reach16 years of age. Now I know why we had over a half a dozen School friends living with us in the past 3 years (as soon as they turned 16 - now 19), .. because they were kicked out of their house by their parents, and living on the streets, or sleeping over different friends houses, because our Government controlled Insurance demands it! I know this is Not About Just the Money, because "They" will get their money no matter what. This is against our children, knowing that once they wonder the streets, or live from house to house over friends, they will get into trouble, especially the girls who we heard stories of them getting molested and raped staying over different friends houses. You sir, according to this video sound like a just Lawyer. Please tell us; have the Insurance companies passed Laws that we either go broke paying car Insurance, or must kick our children out on the streets to fend for themselves to avoid them borrowing the car and nullifying our full coverage car insurance on our family car? OMG I am so sorry this is happening to you, I feel the same way about our Insurance company up here in Canada, my son broke his neck over 3 years ago, got cut off of insurance 2 years ago and has PTSD they do not want to fully acknowledge. @@MattlawAttorney Here is what's happening now; Someone from Allstate called and gave me the claim number to fix my car, and told me to have it towed to a repair shop of my choosing that accepts Allstate. I did, and the shop towed the car. It's been over three weeks and the shop can't get the final OK from the insurance to fix it. I call the insurance, and they keep saying they will get back to me, but never do. Now I got a brief letter from the Insurance that because my son was not listed on the Insurance policy, the car will not be covered. I had the same insurance for over 20 years, I am still paying the loan on this car to the bank, and am also paying for the Full Coverage. What do I do, stop paying on the loan, including the full coverage on the car? I just realized that just because we pay full coverage, doesn't mean we are covered. A while back I had a flat 50 miles out from my home, and since I have roadside assistance I called my insurance, and they had a tow truck come and tow me home, .. for $259.00 We are under German occupation people, and now since I'm 62, the doctors want to kill me, just like the 50% of those over 62 who started collecting the SS-money have been diagnosed with some kind of cancer, and killed by chemo and radiation treatments some as soon as a month to six months. This I heard is just an accepted fact, people die soon after retirement!? We have lost our sense of reasoning! I guess the SS don't like anyone taking their money. Wake up people, there are no more rules ever since NASA.gov took over our military with "operation paperclip". They now control everything, and the "You Have Cancer" initiative is going stronger than ever. 1 out of 8 women are diagnosed with breast cancer, and that's fact, not that any of them have cancer. Once you're diagnosed, the majority of them will be terminated, simple as that. The rest will be told they've been cured, and will go and tell other women how wonderful the German run Cancer Treatment Centers are, and how they cured them, not realizing they never had cancer. I guess this is Gods will, because there is just no way the Germans could of taken over the world, rob, cheat, fool (NASA space travel) and exterminate people as they do without a word, or hint about what's happening in the media, or on the internet. Go and check for yourselves. This is Total and Almighty power given to them, how else could one small nation rule, and even boast of eliminating 6 billion of us without the tiniest of resistance, unless God gave them the authority!? If I don't respond, then God, after 40 years has finally let them kill me, because they are cutting off my meds, to force me to have surgery, and from the last surgery they almost killed me. Don't wait too long to make any claim for your injuries stemming from a car crash. There are some states that have a 1 year statute of limitations. And if you wait too long, you will be forever barred from making any recovery. Please consult a trial attorney near you. Good luck, Matt
Hi @@MattlawAttorney. I was in a car accident. Vehicle 1 was legally parked in a parking stall in the parking lot. Vehicle 2 (me) traveling the wrong way, on a one way travel lane, behind vehicle 1. Vehicle 1 begin backing out of its parking stall, into the travel lane. The rear of vehicle 1 struck the right side of vehicle 2 (me). Driver 2 (me) stated that there were other passengers in her vehicle at the time of collision. I had 3 passengers, 1 adult and 2 minors. I have 3rd party insurance (Geico) they don't want to pay damages to my car because I am only in 30% at fault. They said if it was 70% fault then they will pay for the damages of my car. Vehicle 1 insurance's company won't pay the car damage either because it was my fault. Now I have to fix my car out of my own pocket. Do you think that's right?
I was hit by a bus while stopped at a red light. Call my insurance just so 2 weeks later they can tell me I had to file I claim with the guys insurance. Did just that and was told by his insurance that I will hear from them next business day. It's been 3 business day and still nothing. Even tho the damage is small I want to use them for liers.
Hi Brian, Sorry to hear about your crash. I suggest you start sending letters rather than making phone calls. Written letters are harder for the insurance company to ignore. So, write away and get them going on your claim. They hope you will just give up and go away.

Have what I was told to be FULL COVERAGE..... car was broken into....... a couple thousand dollars worth of car stereo equipment stolen. I have pictures of the installed stereo and receipt. Now all of a sudden they tell me that I need ADDITIONAL coverage for this, which was NEVER told to me by FREEWAY insurance company . What can I do?
If you told your insurance agent what you wanted, and they did not get you what you wanted, they are on the hook. But some of the insurance companies try to sell you the minimum mandatory insurance and they call it "Full Coverage" but it not even close.

I don't think any trial lawyer is colluding with any insurance company. Unfortunately, insurance companies know which lawyers won't put up a fight, and so they can offer them lower settlements, and know the attorney will likely pressure the client to take the low offer, or else the attorney will lose the client to an attorney who will take the case to trial. I can tell you the best way to fight insurance company tactics, is with speed and agility. File suit, be ready, and let a jury decide.

I got T-boned after passing over train tracks. Their insurance carrier kept blaming me for the accident, but she had even admitted to causing the accident to the police. Her company thought that because she broke federal law and hit my car I was at fault. My insurance carrier would do nothing for me because I only carried liability. Insurance companies are crap.
In my case it looks like the insuerer that hit me is not responding to their imsurance personal but they have been at 100% fault. It says their insured have not responded to their contact attempts. I have the address of the person who hit me. Can I send them an official letter of a civil suit because they refuse to comply with their story?
You should send them a formal letter, you should also contact an attorney in your area to help you with your claim. Good luck, don't let them blow you off.
No attorney is gonna file a suit over a claim for a few thousand dollars. Also, most consumers are not gonna hire a lawyer for a small lawsuit (i.e the lawyer fee is too high). The insurance companies have the upper hand in these situations and they know it which is why they bully the customer and the repair facilities. If I have this wrong please explain.

I have geico now. The other party also has geico. Other party at fault and car is totaled. They are denying claim. Stupid as fuck. I have a green light the entire time just for some fuck to go in front of me at an intersection right before I cross. How the fuck are they denying claim. Police report put them at fault.
