Sunday morning I found your chanel and I am so lucky about your wonderful ideas. You have a new abo. Thank you and lovely greetings from Dresden in Germany.
Love this is so interesting, that pop-up journal page every time amazes me. Love the tea stained papers., they are a little bit delicate more than coffee stained. ❤
I love the color these turned out! Coffee always comes out very grungy, which is fine except I don’t always want the grungy look. I just want an older look. About how many teabags do you use? And how long do you seep it for? They all turned out just wonderful and are going to be so lovely in your journal. Hugs 🤗❤
I’m a tea drinker so I reused tea bags and for that tea bath I used 10 USED tea bags. However I buy strong tea. If you can get strong black tea you would need 5-6 fresh tea bags for a light stain and 10 for a darker stain let is seep or brew for 4 mins in boiled water. Work with hot tea for best results. Here’s a more in depth video to explain: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kViNo8bQLqw.htmlfeature=shared And here’s the full playlist for dyed papers ru-vid.com/group/PLdwzkWTUjsC7LxA6BCuOQl9WKOJ0Nt86W&feature=shared
I usually use coffee but I like the effect of the tea as it is a little more delicate . I have many sheets of scrapbook paper that are white on the back and it always presents a problem. I have too many to do all at once but when I'm ready to do a particular Journal I could choose some pages and to dye them before I begin. This was a very helpful Journal thank you so much blessings and hugs from New Mexico

Hi Claudia, i’ll leave papers soaking for 3 to 5 minutes depending on what colour depth I want. I use a warm oven or often put papers in after we’ve been baking when the oven is hot but cooling down. A similar temperature to baking oven chips. I would leave them in there for five minutes maximum with the door shut but I often have the door open and rotate papers around in a fan Assisted oven. I have a full playlist on paper dying on RU-vid channel. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kViNo8bQLqw.htmlfeature=shared
