Wowww! You guys went to Ron for Okonomiyaki! That lady is a Hiroshima's star! I'm actually from Hiroshima, Japan. I can tell you both enjoyed staying Hiroshima and made me happy! Your video is the best I've seen "visiting Hiroshima" video.
I love your videos so much and i look forward to each one. Theyre just so chilled out and .....relaxed. So many youtubers are loud and bombastic and dont achieve anywhere near what you do. Yours have a wonderful ambience and its exactly how I imagine i want to experience japan. The music is always perfect and interspersing the videos with the beautiful quality photo portraits is top notch. Your videos are like comfort food.
Thank you so much for your kind words of support! 🙏 Reading feedback like this really cheers us up, especially on long days editing backlogs of video haha. We hope you get to enjoy this version of Japan when you do get to visit. Wishing you more easy, relaxed days ahead! 🤍😊
Guys thank you so much for such a beautiful work! Im going to Japan in two weeks (omg!😱). I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed and with fomo thanks to the sensationalistic nature of other vlogs; you guys put that at ease, you remind me that traveling is a unique experience for each of us and thats ok, so thanks for that 😌 Wish i could spend one day chillin visiting cool places with you both ✨🌻
Love this comment so much 🤍 Yes, please enjoy your Japan trip! Don't worry too much about following other people's itineraries (including ours!). Follow your own pace and focus on the things you want to experience that would make it more memorable for you 😊 Wishing you safe travels! ⛩️🍙
I really love Japan. Everything is done so carefuly and orderly. We are planning our second trip very soon for a clothes shopping trip. Love your content as always. It's one of my favorite accounts to follow. Good luck!
The warm and friendly service reminded me of the fuwa fuwa feeling I get everytime I'm in Tokyo. You guys certainly made the wait till my next trip much easier!
Just finished watching your video and adding all the spots to our maps! Thank you for another great video guys. I’m in Hiroshima now and looking forward to getting out tomorrow and exploring even more now 😊
@@RalphSam Thank you! We went to your favourite cafe in Fukuoka after watching your previous video, and ended up going back a few times 🙂 We have a very similar taste in places so your videos are a great help. Thanks again and have a great day ☺️
This made me miss the okonomiyaki at okonomimura…i went to a different stall in there, but whichever one you choose, its bound to be delicious! I wish i spent more time in Hiroshima…its definitely an overlooked city…but that also makes it wonderful as well as it doesnt feel ridiculously crowded.
We felt the same way! Okonomimura was such a fun dining experience, and it was great to just observe all the different stalls. We would love to visit Hiroshima again the future. Definitely a Japanese city worth a second visit 🤍
Just got back from my own Japan trip, and I have to say your suggestions were our favorite of our trip ! The sidewalk cafe bitter orange americano was so good we had to get it twice, and absolutely loved Yanaka Ginza. Can’t wait to check out Hiroshima next time!! Thank you for your beautiful videos!
We've been returning for the bitter orange americano since we first went years ago! So happy you guys enjoyed it too 🍊☕️ Definitely recommend Hiroshima on your next Japan trip 😊🤍
Such a good video, definitley have been inspired to visit Hiroshima someday☺️ do you guys have a list of places you like to visit when in Japan, and/or do you have any tips to find unique spots?
Love your videos. Do you do research on clothing stores before you go, are the shops that you have visited before or do you (Sam) just have an innate sixth sense and a really good eye?
thank you for asking! 😊 this is actually our first time in hiroshima. we usually search for vintage shops on google maps beforehand and try to pass by a few as we walk around the city. most of the time we're honestly surprised by what we find! 🤍
@@RalphSam it's great you seem to go to places you've researched and then you also find these little great shops. Btw hope you bought those black slip in shoes, they looked amazing.
Been loving the Japan vlogs recently!! ❤ Heading over there next week & wondering if you think it would be doable from Osaka to do a day trip of the main points in Hiroshima and then also miyajima and then back to Osaka?
I've seen day tours for that route from Osaka, so it is possible. Depends how much time you want to spend exploring Miyajima and Hiroshima! You might be a bit rushed considering travel time to and from the island.
@@RalphSam Oh sorry, it was a video that time Ralph was inside sitting near the counter and Sam was outside sipping the coffee. Or maybe it was another random guy. :)
How did you get seats? Did you have to call out to them cookers or did you stand in a line or did you just sit down on your own when there was an empty seat at the okomomiyaki place?
we just fell in line in front of the shop. 😊 they will hand you the menu and get your order ahead but everyone is seated at the same time after all the orders are cooked. we waited around 20 to 30 min. other shops are not as popular/busy and you can just sit down when there is an open seat. take the elevator up to this floor. not the long line by the stairs at the entrance.
i think most people usually go from osaka, but by shinkansen it's only about 1 hour or so from fukuoka. :) we have a previous vlog about taking the shinkansen from hakata to hiroshima if ever you want to check it out ✌🏻
@@RalphSamhi thanks for sharing your Hiroshima trip, this very timely, we’re off to Japan this Friday nite with Osaka stay then from there to Hiroshima day trip, but contemplating if wl do day trip or stay the night? What’s your suggestion? Thank you 🙏
Personally we love Hiroshima! Depends if you want to make a visit to Miyajima (which we also have a video on, and highly recommend people visit!). If you do, I'd recommend sleeping over so you can explore more of this lovely city.
