I was born in Querétaro, Queretaro and came to the United States when I was seven years old and watching this video it’s literally creating a romance to my hometown that I don’t have a relationship with. I am truly inspired and will love to visit very soon. Thank u for this post, I’m in love 😍

I wish I knew about the concha con mole from Fabrica de Chocolate, we were in Querétaro last week and only had the churros and chocolate. But we did go to La Patrona Barbacoa with Karencita and Dave. So good if you didn’t get a chance to try it. Also the enchiladas mole negro at Takua Sur-Este. Great food in Querétaro.

Haha that’s funny you say that trick is so Mexican because Kevin does that all the time when we’re out with friends/family that we want to treat. He’ll “go to the bathroom” and come back with the paid bill 😆

And this video was filmed when the exchange rate was more favorable making everything even more expensive these days.. Querétaro is a wealthy city with a high cost of living compared to most of Mexico

Damn! Where were you when I was in Queretaro? I went to all the worst restaurants! The only place I liked was Las Gorditas del Portal. The best carne asada in Mexico!
@EatBailaTravel
@EatBailaTravel Год назад
Honestly, Querétaro doesn’t have the best Mexican food, sadly. But for sure the best carne asada in Mexico is in the north! Coahuila has out favorite carnes asada tacos and they’re sold on the street. T-bone steaks tacos in the north is the norm in the north, crazy right?
@ovh992
@ovh992 Год назад
@@EatBailaTravel that is true! I went to Sonora Grill in DF and dude I had the best steak I have ever had. Mexican beef is better than beef from the USA. Less steroids given to the cows probably. I also had the best refried beans I have ever had at Sonora Grill (and the worst Italian food! 😂)

@@dramirez1154 the other bus line is Omni bus. Although not as comfy but also very reliable. Or renting a car would be good to. It’s a 45 min car ride

I spent one month in Queretaro, and I must say, compared to the rest of República, Queretaro food scene really su..ks big time, it's pretty easy to find burgers, chicken wings, pizza and others gringos type of food but traditional Mexican cuisine it's really lacking.
@EatBailaTravel
@EatBailaTravel 2 года назад
I agree that burgers, wings and pizza are overly abundant in Querétaro! I thought it was strange too lol but for local eats we went to street food vendors or the local mercado.
