Thanks for the information. I was given the job 68 G, in Army active duty. I’ll go in as a Specialist, and I have to be scheduled for the swear in ceremony and basic training. I’m trying to watch as many videos as I can, so I can feel prepared. The meps processing is crazy lol, done that like four times already. So I’m used to waking up like at 2 am, so I can start the long day ahead.
@WealthConquering I "chose" a job before I went to MEPS and took the real ASVAB... I didn't get a high enough score so I had to choose medic... I'm glad I didn't get the job as a paralegal because I'd be at a desk all day bored as hell
@@ChukedIII High enough score so you had to choose medic? There’s no way you need a higher GT score to be a paralegal than to be a medic. Or are you talking about a different line score?

Do personal running shoes have to be a certain color? I know my feet won't like the new balance 😆 I have multiple pairs of running shoes in different colors so I want to know what color I should take
They just have to be nothing flashy, stick to something bland like black, grey, tan, dark green. And those New Balances are the good issued shoes XD, what you don't want are the SAS's, those are absolute shit, most people end up getting the SAS's. I only saw a handful of people lucky enough to get the New Balances.

theres not physical like the one at meps. meps just makes sure you're good to go. you also get a second physical. that would be the "reception phys" you ask about
lol yall complaining! I went through MCRD in San Diego I got there about 9 from the airport and we had to stay up NO SLEEP AT ALL for two days almost we also NEVER got to see our phones until we graduated for 13 weeks from what I’m hearing ARMY EASY AS FUCK
@@woperwop2392 weed won’t show up past a month or so depending on how frequently you use it… you should be good. Yes they test you at meps the day you ship, if they don’t you will still be tested at basic again.
@@museme6309 during basic. ait most places you get your phone in the barracks/your room. my friends at fort sill artillery got to keep it on them at all times. i know that at fort leonard wood you get your phone only on weekends at ait
At basic you’ll most likely put your phone in a plastic bag with your name on it when you first get to your unit, and for the most part they’ll give you your phone every Sunday for 15-30 minutes and if it’s a holiday 1 hour
Depends on color and what 1SG says. 1SG is typically the one who says what is allowed for the whole company (in terms of "can you wear your own running shows" or "can you buy new boots") but sometimes is the company commander. And if they do let you wear running shoes, you'll probably hear a few times from the DS that Nike running shoes suck XD.
