I went to pick mine up last week and was super excited as I walked around, admiring it. Then I came across the passenger backseat door, which had a large gouge and several scrapes. My delivery person told me just wrap the truck and not to worry about it. I said, but I don’t want to wrap this truck! The stainless body is why I want the truck to begin with!. He said the next one might even be worse and if I refuse that then I lose my down payment. Not sure about this whole Tesla thing…

One thing to expect is the laughter of people who know that it is a $100K piece of junk (all 4000 having been recalled multiple times). Also know that you will suffer the disdain of people who know that you just want to show that you have $100k to waste on an ugly, useless piece of electrical junk. Conspicuous consumption at its finest. Congrats on showing your basic concept of yourself.
Everyone I’ve met has been incredibly positive, mine hasn’t had a single problem yet, and most importantly everyone is entitled to their own opinion :) You may not like the truck and I’m sure your reasons are justified within your own mind, but I assure you that no person’s opinion of the vehicle or myself will steal a modicum of the joy it brings me.
