Hanan is here to reassure you that applying for the AXA Startup Angel competition isn’t a daunting process. Listen in as she reflects on what made her, and her business idea stand out from the crowd. If you have a great business idea, now is your time to share it to get in with a chance of winning £25,000 to kick start your business dream, receive business insurance for the first year thanks to AXA, as well as mentoring from the AXA Startup Angels.

► How do I enter?
Head to the Evening Standard website to enter the competition. All you need to do is answer some brief questions about your business as well as submitting an elevator pitch style video about why you deserve to win. Please note, applications are closed for AXA Startup Angel 2024.
► Who are this year’s judges?
The competition will be judged by our AXA Startup Angels: Henry Firth and Ian Theasby co-founders of vegan food brand BOSH!), Sharmadean Reid MBE (founder and CEO of The Stack World), and Raphael Sofoluke (founder and CEO of UK Black Business Week and UK Black Business Show) as well as members of the AXA and evening standard team.
► When is the deadline?
The deadline is 23:59 on 2nd June 2024 so make sure to have your application in before then!
