You only really need 1 pair it’s more you need 2 pairs if your doing fancy dinners at onboard restaurants and also only some cruises, are only 7 days and seeming how it looks like you’ve never been on one, there are tons of shorter cruises like 4-5 day cruises. That’s only 5 pair of jeans.
Power strips, multi plug box outlets/adaptors and extension cords (without surge protectors) are allowed on board when used with proper caution. However, if such devices are determined to pose a hazard, they will be removed and returned the last day of the cruise prior to debark.
Einstein, two pairs of clothes per day hahaha. You want day and evening wear,do ya think? Lets wear shorts to formal dining. Better yet lets wear dress shirt and dress pants to the pool and beach.
So my suggestion on clothes since I’ve been on a lot cruises bring a pair of clothes for every day of the cruise plus 2-3 emergency pairs, one formal attire if u like to dress up or if u have special dinning with a dress code, a semi formal pair of clothing or 2, 1 or 2 bathing suits. Also 2 set of gym clothes but usually I just go in what i slept in being that i usually sleep in quick dry or stuff from the day before.I usually pack sandals and 1 2 or 3 pairs of shoes depending on how long my cruise is. The 2 pair per day is a bit excessive being that there is a huge difference from 6 pairs of clothes to 28 pairs of clothes. Do laundry if you have a long cruise if u need too.
Okay heres a real tip, im going for 8 days, im bringing 8 outfits and 2 extras, my themed clothes, 3 pairs of shoes and 4 swimsuits and 4\5 pajamas also Toiletry 🤷🏻♀️
He was on the spectrum of the sea. I recently went there and it's really nice. Everything he said was true EXCEPT for the walls. The toilet walls are made of marble or a stone that feels similar to marble but lighter.
Two pairs per day??? I literally just got off a cruise, and thats insane lmao. So unnecessary. All you need is one pair for each day, with maybe a couple extras of each piece. They have laundry on cruises if needed. No need to bring 4 suitcases for 2 outfits a day lmao
Can you explain the purpose of having multiple outfits for a single day? Will the crew silently judge passengers for the fashion sense, or lack thereof?
I’ve worked as an attendant for about 3 weeks on a cruise, and usually the more gossipy cliques will pick out a few people and over the course of a few days, judge if the person rewears the same outfit.
Don’t take a power strip onto DCL ships as they will confiscate it due to it being a fire hazard. DCL has at least 2 US/EU combi plugs, at least 1 EU plug and at least 1 USB and USB-C port in your room. Take USB hubs with you if it’s not enough or request a power strip at guest services, but never take one with you.
...my cruise tip is ... reduce everything into a carry on ... your never gonna see each other again wear something twice ... and no dieting on a cruise ...
Yeah! One pair trousers for two or three days, and two shirts a day. So for a 4 day cruise, besides what I am wearing, pack 2 trousers and 4 shirts, plus 1 dress trousers 2 dress shirts. And 1 or 2 Burmuda shorts. For ladies, same, and 1 very nice dress for the disco.
Add large zip seal bags to your list. They're also good for keeping slices of pizza in your fridge for that 2AM snack or breakfast pizza when you wake up.
I like cookie or crackers and a midnight snack, so small ziplock baggie does it for me Also a small travel mug, to walk away with my hot beverage. Or cold beverage.
Since I was in hs, I have a packing list already made. The things I change around are clothes, shoes, accessories, and sme minor stuff. It saves me some time creating a list that goes in my suitcase and on me.
Would models be suggested? Like models of let’s say the HMHS Britannic (reason I’m asking is if they would allow something as such to be on) (average size would be 5ft)
We change clothes 3 time a day on cruises😂. Idk if it's something that just happens on girls trips or not.....but I can't imagine just wear one outfit a day on vacation.
