Thanks a lot for the support Lachy! Great to hear you're looking at getting into hiking! I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you have to help you get out on the trails! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for all the details. I’ve watched a lot of your videos and found very good information :) I’m planning to go there for the night and also planning to shoot some videos. Can I ask if it’s safe to do that for one Person ? As I saw that there was no one else there in your video so I’m just curious if I should do it alone ( considering the factor of animals or any other potential risk). I’m planning to go near New Years time as weather looks good. Thanks again
Hey thanks so much for the kind words! :) It's definitely safe for one person assuming the weather is good in my opinion. I would suggest however, to take a PLB (personal location beacon) just incase anything goes wrong. I'm quite sure you can hire them from one of the shops in Jindabyne and it's a great thing to have for peace of mind on solo missions! I hope you have a fantastic hike, it's an incredibly beautiful spot and such a great way to bring in the new year! :)
@@vaastexpeditions908 thanks so much man for the detailed reply , was very quick too. And yes I’m planning to go there this weekend or after as I’m still keeping an eye on the weather so fingers crossed :) Thanks again ❤️
Thanks man for the video and looking forward to more, i just wanted to ask what the tent you mentioned you have upgraded to? I recently updated my pack to the Osprey ATMOS AG 65, and i have to say probably the best pack i have personally owned to date and the back support is second to none in my opinion. Thank you again
Thanks so much Philip! We ended up going for the Copper Spur by Big Agnes. It's absolutely incredible and has nothing but great reviews! We got ours from Wild Earth. Super super easy walk, we didn't find it difficult at all. You can absolutely do it by yourself and stay the night, however I would strongly recommend checking the forecast as it can get quite hectic up there during the cooler months. It's always a good practice to take a PLB with you when going solo, which I believe you can hire from one of the shops in Jindabyne. It's an incredible place, a really beautiful part of Australia, we can't wait to go back! :)
