Moving to a new country can be a daunting task, and a lot of you may be confused on what you should bring with you. Of course there are some things that you can't live without, but there are a lot of things you can just get once you get settled in Korea. We came with just one or two suitcases, and there are some things that you just don't need. We learned the hard way after realizing we didn't need to use that precious suitcase space for certain things. So learn from our mistakes to see what you should definitely pack, and what you can just leave back in your home country.

Hearing "toothpaste" and "deodorant", completely legitimized this video for me. Only 2 things my friend asked me to bring her from the US when I visited Korea 😄.

I am super into health products and fluoride-free toothpaste is a must-have for me! It's so expensive here in the states and the options are very limited. I'm so glad you mentioned the toothpaste in Korea. I've never heard that before!

I've also heard to bring a fitted sheet if you're going long term. Someone suggested bringing a full sized towel if that's what you prefer for showering because they're more expensive/less common. Is that true? Any western food-specific recommendations? I know people who bring certain condiments and snacks with them because the Korean versions just aren't quite the same (I've mostly heard ketchup is a big thing for those ketchup lovers out there lol)

Rachael Gray they sell towels, they just (most likely) won’t be big enough for your taste. So I’d either bring one or get used to using the small towels. Also, I’ve heard you can find bigger towels in certain stores, but I live in a small town and that’s not an option for me.

You can buy good towels on amazon if you want big towels.

Do they have other cold medicines that would be a good replacement for DayQuil or NightQuil?

What about towels? I heard Korean towels (like after you shower, not hand towels) are really small

I was with you...all the way until you said not to bring my books. I don't just do 'a book to read on the plane,' I'm a "bookie." I've been *dying* while my books have been in storage. I would consider leaving my keyboards, mixer, cords, and practice amp before my books (bc the music equipment was probably made there, or in Japan). ...but thanks for letting me know that I can find shoes, as long as they're sz 8, and under. Actually (like I said before), *EVERY* bit of advice was great...except for the books. 😅😂

I would say don't bring boots because it literally never snows over here. Unless you live in the North part of South Korea, you don't need them and they are heavy.

i want a video about why Payton is leaving!!! T_T would love to hear about how you process everything to make such a big decision, I've taught English overseas too and am about to go again and I know how hard it is to make that decision.

Peyton in a video said she is 25 and Chen doesn't wanna tell us. Although Chen is older than Peyton, and she has said she has a few years till 30. So probably 26-28 range I'm guessing.
