@@ItalybyItalians I didnt know about the Normale University being a twin and about the Malta knights headquarters in Pisa. My husband is maltese and he didnt know either. I've been to Pisa 3 times and missed that fact.
Liked #156, Pisa is very beautiful. Looks like there is more to see than the leaning tower. I am really looking forward to for you to do my favorite city Florence! Ciao.
@@hrahmani ciao! In Marina di Pisa you can find the closest beaches (mainly rocks, a couple of small sandy beaches). You can get there by car (around 15 min), by bus (around 25 min) or by bike: there is a new, really nice bike path that goes from Pisa to Marina di Pisa. Let me know if you have more questions!
Ciao!
@@ItalybyItalians England ..West Yorkshire ..I live deep in the middle of England deep in the countryside ......big cities is where all most people go to .....but most people "like me" like the country side better then the cities. It would be nice if you could show "people like me" more of the wildlife what you have .. I think the countryside and the wildlife is more important then the big cities . But...i did enjoy your tour .....and i would LOVE to visit one daY .........you have impressive buildings and history .....it was a pleasure to listen to you and i wish you well . 💞💕
@@Mossyz. I definitely understand what you say, small cities and coutryside can often be much better than big cities. Our purpose is to show the most we can about Italy, from cities to ghost towns. If you'll visit our channel you'll see that we have some videos about nature and small towns 😊
If I weren't with my younger sister last time I visited Italy, I would have left the tour group at the cathedral and spent the day in the city instead of them heading into Siena.
My grandmother was born in Pisa and my sisters and I will be visiting in September for the first time. Where do you recommend to stay? I was thinking Hotel Duomo but I can't tell if that is central to everything. We would walk not ride bicycles. Thank you.
It can happen anywhere but my friend went there this year and had her car broken into near Pisa. She left the car for less than 30 minutes. Her passport was in it. The police cannot help. We always get a guide/driver or drop our bags off first.
Hi, we have stopped blogging so our articles are not available anymore. Anyway we did not recommend restaurants, only food. In Pisa we suggest: - cecina - panzanella - Pisa version of pizza (tomato sauce, capers, anchovies and Parmesan cheese). Have fun!
very good video. I'm afraid the fact of knights of malta is inaccurate it is the symbol of the Military Order of St. Stephen founded by Cosimo I de' Medici
Oh, she's fine with calling it the "Knights of Malta." Cosimo de 'Medici founded the order of Santo Stefano in 1516, and it was designed to perpetuate the Knights of Malta model, which could be traced back to 1048. The eight-pointed cross made its appearance way back in the sixth century.
Hi Christopher, thanks for your question! We can definitely suggest you what we think it's the best tour for you, let us know when you want to visit and if you have special requests. 🤗
@@ItalybyItalians Pisa was all about the Tower but we got to see more because of your video. Thanks! We stayed at Palazzo Feroci - Residenza d'epoca which was amazing. And the Cavalieri Cafe next door had the absolute best expresso and cornetto con crema. They were superb!
