I have hesitated wearing a saree coz I felt it will not suit my short hair. However, seeing this video has given me the confidence to wear a saree and rock my short hair as well! So beautiful and elegant Parmita ❤️

This was so fun! I’m Swedish so the contrast couldn’t be greater for the wedding traditions ....Normal in Sweden has been few people perhaps 30-40 people max ( avarage 20) a shower for the bride and one separate for the groom , wedding ceremony and dinner .... ours was really big for Sweden at 120 ish and unusual as we had more functions but we had people from all over flying in and thought that it would be nice with more than the normal 5 min ceremony ( non- religious since my husband is atheist) 15 min if it had been Lutheran and also wanted calm ,actually talk to people !

Pleating the saree the other way, was the best styling I have seen, just amazing.. But i guess it would look good only when one is slim, like you.. I loved the jewelry too.. What Advice do you have for a western woman attending a half Indian wedding, as family?. My cousin is marrying a man from South India next year, and hasn't given the information about dress yet..
