Thank you so much for posting this video, Adriel. I'm visiting Paris this year in early October so your tips are very useful. I'm English but live in Greece where it's terribly hot currently so my main concern about visiting Paris is that I'll find it very cold. Obviously layers are key!

Hello. I love Greece. Yes, Paris will be colder and it's been a very cool and rainy summer here so I would definitely recommend layers. Who knows what will happen.

Thank you for making this video. I have already watched it two times. I can’t wait to see the fall fashion video(s) you make this year. I am traveling to Paris this fall and want to blend in. It will be my 3rd trip to Paris but it’s been a while since I have visited.

Oh yay! Fortunately, fall fashion in Paris doesn’t change too much but I think it will (as usual) always depend upon the weather. It’s been so cold this summer.

So glad. Have a great trip. Just to know it’s unseasonably warm in Paris right now so you probably won’t need a jacket except for early mornings.

So refreshing to hear about color in fall! I have a bright blue and purple trench coat that I was so worried about not being able to wear it because I’d “stick out like a sore thumb”. I’m also a color person in general so I’m excited to wear lots of pieces I have. A million ‘merci’ for your videos💜

Thank you! This was right on time since I’ll be traveling to Paris in a couple of months. Could you also do a video or a TikTok on dining in Paris (e.g., do you have to make reservations? If so, how far in advanced? Can you you just walk up and ask for a table-whether inside or on the terrace?, etc.). Thanks again for a helpful video! 😊
@adrielfelise
@adrielfelise Год назад
You’re welcome. With respect to dining, you only need to make reservations if you’re going to someplace nice, otherwise, if it’s a terrace, you just walk up, look for an empty table & sit down

This was helpful, thank you. 🌸 my fear is being cold, I have family that went in early March and they were freezing.
@adrielfelise
@adrielfelise Год назад
Believe me - that is a very reasonable fear. People think Paris is warm but it doesn’t get hot usually until the end of May. It’s only starting to get cold next week so definitely bring a puffer topper. I’ll do some Instagram stories on the jackets I’ll be wearing

Loved the latest episode. I am hoping to travel to .Paris for the first time in late May next year. It will be a solo trip. I so appreciate your tip to take advantage of the buses as opposed to relying exclusively on the Metro. No one suggests that! Also, packing a tote bag for shopping- but of course ( head smack) mais bien sur!
@adrielfelise
@adrielfelise Год назад
Oh cool. Feel free to message me if you need any suggestions etc for your trip. And yes I much prefer the buses; I really do think it’s the best way to circulate through Paris.

Adriel, loved this, thank you so much. I'll be in Paris in around 3 weeks so the timing is perfect for the information on what to wear in early September. Must remember the umbrella. I think I'll put the Longchamp Tote on my to buy list - it will be perfectly practical to use when in the city and a great holiday keepsake (and a useful one at that). I love the 3 colour rule, you mentioned it a while back and seriously, I've been putting it into play ever since (even use it on my husband) - and it make such a difference to a look. I think that's one thing the Parisian's have right! Merci once again, I'll be sure to say Hi if i see you out and about. BTW, love your channel - very classy, very smooth, very chic and very calming. Love coming to you from Melbourne, Aust.
@adrielfelise
@adrielfelise Год назад
Oh yes, please say hi if you see me around. Gosh I love the three color rule. And yes to the longchamp. I would recommend buying it in one of their stores (or at printemps) once you arrive so you can really hit the ground running. I got my first Longchamp at a charity shop for $3. But I bought my second in paris & the price difference between the cost of one in the US vs France was huge. It’s a very practical travel bag!

Love your videos and thank you for always answering my comments. I have been to Paris several times and usually walk everywhere. You are so right. People tend to over think their wardrobe when going. I tend to blend in so I have never had a problem. Back in the day I never wore white sneakers, but now they're everywhere. Actually when I go in October thus year, I want to buy a pair there. Any recommendation of stores?
@adrielfelise
@adrielfelise Год назад
Thank you so much. So personally I really like the Le Coq Sportif brand for white sneakers. There’s another brand that I’m blanking on the name - I’ll ask my friend. You also see people in a lot of Reebok’s, Adidas & Pumas.

@adrielfelise
@adrielfelise 10 дней назад
I'm glad it was helpful. I've never been to Spain in October. However, when I was in Spain in May, it was definitely warmer than Paris (i.e. I could wear skirts and did not have to wear jeans), but I would not necessarily expect it to be substantially warmer than Paris.

Adriel, any suggestions for men traveling to Paris? Wallets in a jean back pocket seems like a bad idea. What do most men do to carry their wallets?
@adrielfelise
@adrielfelise Год назад
Men tend to carry a small, square crossbody bag. I know it may seem a bit odd to an American man but it’s quite common in paris, Italy & other places yo see men with these. I’ll try to take a photo and post on the community board.

this is very helpful. since this video was posted a month ago, not sure if the mid fall still relevant 😅 I'm going to Paris this Tuesday for a business trip. I checked the weather it's around 27°c - 19°c throughout the week. I find it hot.. so I'm not sure if I should bring a jacket. just imagine something from uniqlo ultra light down jacket. meanwhile I'm thinking to bring a denim jacket and layer it with mid weight cardigan. I think it's warm enough. of course I will wear some warm tops as well 😄 but I'm debating on the outerwear part. hope you can share some insight how's the Paris weather right now
@adrielfelise
@adrielfelise Год назад
Hi!! So it’s unseasonably warm in paris right now. The early week we will have highs of 80 degrees but by next weekend it’s supposed to dip to highs of 64. So probably not much need for a coat or jacket. It can still get pretty chilly at night so maybe the denim will be sufficient for your needs.

I’m coming to Paris in 3 weeks, as our apartment is quite far from the centre of Paris,we will probably leave in the morning and be out pretty much all day. So I’m trying to think of things to wear that will work from day to night? Biggest question is will I get turned away from restaurants if I have sneakers on (adidas etc)
@adrielfelise
@adrielfelise Месяц назад
No way! Everyone wears sneakers here. I have an updated video where I broke down the attire by months. But no way, wear the sneakers. Now if you’re going to a 5 star restaurant, you might bring a pair of ballet flats.
