1 -Thank them (Sağ olsun): While this expression is often used for genuine gratitude, it is sometimes used in a sarcastic way, like in this instance.
2 - Sir (Efendim): While it is often used in its actual meaning, this word is sometimes used as a vocalized pause. One can consider this a shortened version of the vocalized pause “Let me tell my mister” (Efendime Söyleyeyim), seen and explained in the previous episode.
3 - Practice/Custom (Anane): Not to be confused with “Anneanne”, which means maternal grandmother.
4 - Discussion/Argument (Tartışmak): There are no separate words for discussion and argument in Turkish. The word “Tartışmak” is used for both.
