I definitely want more realistic elements, get rid of the heavy drones, focus on human enemies, add more injuries like breakpoint, where you need to heal your self but add more animations, breakpoint was good but there’s a lot of sloppiness in the animation and a lot of repetitive animations like in the takedowns there were a lot of animation that only trrigggered on certain conditions. I want them to take inspiration from MGS 3 and MGSV when it comes to gameplay and interactivity with the world.

I would prefer going to GRAW with more tactical options like in Operation Flashpoint Red River. Build upon Cross Com 2.0 as well and not have it just for visual flare.

I'm a console player primarily and love the open world freedom of Breakpoint and Wildlands. What I want for the next Ghost Recon is an 3rd person open world tactical simulator with options to increase or decrease the immersion. The Ghost Experience in Breakpoint is a good start but it isn't detailed enough. Give me more options with more refinement. I also really want a mission generator where players can create their own Ops and share them with other players in the community.

The mission generator is an awesome idea, but it already is in the game lmao

I'll go and say it an semi-open world like GRFS or GRAW(PC version) would be a perfect mix between old and new. A large "mission map" to tackle objectives in different ways and a focused narrative to drive the game forward

It would be great to see MilSim as a mode instead of being the foundation of the game. when you switch to that mode you are introduced to additional weapons, gear and cosmetics that cannot be obtained through normal gameplay. That to me would be a great incentive for people to try to learn milsim, but if they don’t like it, just go back to playing the regular modes. Also, no upgrade system. Everything about how you perform in the world should be tied to the gear you equip, not the XP amount that you gain. But you get access to the gear that changes your stats through completion of missions and challenges under certain specifications.

I’m on Xbox series X, and I’d like them to stay right where they are and perfect it. It’s not too realistic and it’s not too arcade like. They can add more aspects to allow you to dive into both areas but overall keep it balanced. Give me an open world or sandbox style future soldier and I’d be having a field day. But no matter what they do I’ll play it and love it. I love this series and always have. This and splinter cell will always be two of my favorite game series. So let’s hope they work hard and give us the games we deserve for both.

I definitely would appreciate a more tactical and immersive style of gameplay for the next game. Gameplay that has me actually feeling like a Ghost once again(which BP did not). A highly trained spec ops operator in a gritty military theme with OG Clancy style of writing thats complex and engaging but still believeable. I would like Ubi to focus more on squad tactics, enemy AI, mission variety, gunplay/ballistics and the gear you choose having an impact on your ghost rather than choosing a class. I will admit that I don't think Ubisoft will make GR into a hard-core milsim but they may give us a game mode similar to WL Ghost mode which allows us to have more of a hardcore experience.
@Fedrix1409
@Fedrix1409 5 месяцев назад
They need to get the gritty theme from breakpoint, along with its mechanics (the immersive ones) and the animations, and put it a wildlands like land, with leaks saying it will be set in an asian country during a war, the military theme will be awsome, imagine if they put that rebel system in the game but instead of the rebels they give us the option to call marines or the army to support us, like fighting enemies with us, giving jet strikes or giving us a lift with a blackhawk chopper, It would be a fenomenal hit
@MrTrip666

@@Fedrix1409 I mean, I don't see what "gritty" about Breakpoint, tbh. Animations were good overall, but the takedown animations were bloated, immersion breaking, hollywood bs imo. I'd love PCAS or CAS from something like an A-10 thunderbolt or choppers and gunships. Even support from naval warships and amphibious carriers like the USS WASP would be ideal

Definitely would love them to stick to open world like wildlands but not go over the top turning it into a division game.

Allot of people seem to want wildlands with just a bit more hardcore nature. I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

@@GmoneyMozart Yes, somewhere hot and sandy would be the ideal place. They could add a settlement where you can upgrade it and turn it into a base.

Wildlands itself and some of the features in Breakpoint, certainly the open approach to missions and the maps, plus the setting options were excellent. However, the Spartan mod demonstrated that the Devs were not willing to let the players go as far as the game would allow in terms of an authentic experience. They made it difficult or easy using health/damage parameters and AI density more than they did spotting distance, sound and camouflage, and this often resulted in a loss of immersion for me. That, and squadmates that had only the most basic controls available, are two huge things I'd like to see improved on.

I feel like I as a console player want a ghost recon that allows me to live out the immersive fantasy of being a spec ops super soldier behind enemy lines with the option to use multiple tactics to approach situations while also cutting out the jank and frustration that a lot of milsims come with.

Ngl ; if the standards were met in the process of developing breakpoint ( time span , good writing, feedback of the community taken into consideration & overall choosing THE RIGHT PEOPLE AS DELTA COMPANY ; with the purpose of bouncing ideas around content creators like you & the rest of the legends that proved how attached & care for this franchise. ) this video u just made would’ve been a formality to deepen the immersion into our passion !! Keep preaching brother !!

Console gamer here (PS basically). Now, concerning "roots", I believe Ghost Recon is a tactical shooter, planning on what you're going to use, and, how OGR and some other games like Predator or perhaps PS2 GRAW did, decided how you're going to hit your targets, or which order. Breakpoint's later updates did this is a great fashion with some HVTs. There were some I drove into setting off mines that I placed. Let stuff like that be part of the gameplay: tactical planning. Also, dunno if you agree or not, but I also believe something like GRAW's, or Future Soldier's use of technology and what the Ghosts had during those times, are also part of its roots. That, like tactical gameplay is part of its identity. Next-generation soldiers dominating (what seems like) current-generation enemies with cutting-edge hardware to gain the upper hand against a numerically superior force. Force Multiplier, in a way. Doing the job with just basic, standard issue equipment doesn't seem very "Ghost Recon" to me. Perhaps to some others either, but I know to me. Anyway, that's my two cents.

Imagine micro managing a ghost tank unit. I wonder what kind of tanks we’d be able to access as ghosts. I’ve always wanted to control, customize a tank unit to utilize as support or be able to manage and customize additional ghost attacker squads to pull up in apcs or helos to assist in battle while I access the go commands through tac map from a distance or stroll in combat together with tank squad ordering other ghosts and squads to go here and there or lay down cover fire, etc. I just want to be able to pace the combat and utilize all the weapons in each squad myself whenever I want and not always have to do all the work by myself and play as different ghosts in different squads and switch up the combat w bigger team or teams of squads. Later g and ghosts.

I thought GRAW 1&2 was a good mix of sqaud tactics and arcade gameplay it was a good middle ground and as someone who plays on consoles i would like the series to go back to its roots and i think somewhere between OG GR and the GRAW games as well as later entrys is the perfect Ghost Recon game we all want but sadly Ubisoft would have to make it

I think Kojima is going to give us what we need with his next stealth action game. MGSV Gameplay mixed with the movement all the preparation of death stranding, plus multiplayer will be what we need.

I like the open world, but would like to see more tactical stuff added like mission planning. Also, add a mission creator with possible pvpve. Or don’t do anything. I like Wildlands and Breakpoint both

I would personally like to see alot of things change. Such as the Open world aspect. Theres not really much there for excitement aside crafting health or explosives. I would like to have the option to choose the area/PrePlanning/COOP missions/loadout/Environment to do rather than roaming around the same map doing "different objectives." When it can be somewhat better than groundbranch but replicate an urban feel like division but less "Arcade like"

Very good video bro! In my opinion, I believe it would be most beneficial to invest more time into flexible settings choices to ensure a maximum potential range of gameplay preference opportunities. We all know it’s possible, so Ubisoft just needs to take their time, apply a new unique storyline, and then focus a reasonable amount of time into the settings so players with practically any playstyle preference can enjoy the game by just adjusting this settings. Gaming developers should also carefully monitor community requests/responses to a new installment, and make timely adjustments accordingly, based on the storyline, mechanics, special features like game modes, mission creator programs, special effects, uniforms, DLC, etc. If the developers and managers of Ubisoft and the Ghost Recon franchise can remain interactive with the community, it could possibly make a new installment the best “shooter game” ever made, and would literally set a new standard of game development for every company.

Very true but sometimes I feel like they pretend to listen and then they do what they want lol Like how did Breakpoint even get made with those types of game elements? Only to then give us immersive mode because the community spoke up. They def have a tough job ahead of them trying to figure out where they want to take the franchise.

Hey G! Said this back in the day: what Ubisoft should do instead of sinking a 100 million plus on the next AAAA GR, (and the success of the latest Tomb Raider Remasters confirm this would be a fine approach) is, remake the first GR with a smaller budget, modern graphics, bigger sandboxesa and authentic tactical gameplay, use that release as a testbed for gameplay and the community's reaction and go from there. I truly don't trust Ubisoft with developing new stuff at all.

Console Player. Loved Wildlands (WL). I still want open world. Saying that, I want engagements to be longer distance. 500-600m Snipers isn't too much to ask. Be a cool effect that you have to scope them or see them with binoculars to even know they are there The customizable gameplay in BreakPoint (BP) is a good thing as to not alienate play styles. Mission, Territory, Living World, Story, etc was really good in WL and terrible in BP. PvP was exceptionally better in WL. Maps and Balancing made it tactical. BP absolutely failed. People (me included) still play PvP on WL... I don't know anybody that played PvP on BP after the first yr if they even made it that far If they just remastered WL, I would play it. If down the road they remastered BP, I would laugh and watch Ubisoft burn after they made that decision. They cannot come out with a game like BP and survive. If it's closer to WL.. they have a chance - with improvements obviously

G I can't find your GR 1 stream. Is that stream still on your channel? TBH a reticle on the screen is a bit to dated for me. Rainbow 6 3 is probably the oldest Tom Clancy tac shooter I would consider going back to. That said, GR1 is still surprisingly enjoyable when I tried the game out for a bit recently, and the control isn't actually too complicated. It would need a lot of remapping tho, cuz the control scheme is positively ANCIENT.
