I'm glad you liked the French Breakfast radishes. Unfortunately I have no luck with radishes. They grow best in spring and fall, and where I live there's hardly anything but winter and summer. People often say they're a super easy crop, but in some places they're about the hardest vegetable to grow. Thanks for the suggestions; your garden looks great!
@TheAllotmentGardenandKitchen
Thank you for your comment which is really appreciated. It’s a shame that you have difficulty with radish as they are such a lovely veg. Kind regards. Gary

Thanks I didn’t realise there was still so much that can still be sown. I’m sowing Swiss chard, more radishes and beets and thanks to you I’ve just been out and got some Charlotte potatoes for Christmas x
@TheAllotmentGardenandKitchen
Thank you very much for the comment Lucy which is greatly appreciated. Yes, if you plant your Charlotte’s now in containers they should be ready just in time for Christmas. Kind regards. Gary

I’ve just got my order of a couple of types of Cabbage, kale, cauliflower, sprouting broccoli and chantenay carrots, but will also try some more turnips after your suggestion! Thank you for the video 😊

I’ve just started Spring Onions, Spinach Beet, more Radishes and Beetroot 🤞. I’d like to do more potatoes but wouldn’t be able to move the container if the weather turns. Next year I hope to do a main crop and some earlies, so I can enjoy more homegrown potatoes 🥔 😊
@TheAllotmentGardenandKitchen
Thank you very much for your comment Charlotte which is greatly appreciated. You have started a good range of veg that should give you a good supply through the autumn and winter. Also, although they can take up a lot of space it is always worth growing as many potatoes as you can. Kind regards. Gary

Thanks Gary, as always very helpful advice. I didn't realise you could sow beetroot in August, will definitely try beetroot. Thanks for sharing.
@TheAllotmentGardenandKitchen
Hi Sheila, thank you for your comment which is really appreciated. If you plant your beets in a nice bright spot you should get a good crop before the cold weather arrives. Kind regards. Gary

@@TheAllotmentGardenandKitchen all we seem to get here is rain and wind the past few weeks, we have had a good crop of cabbage kale and swede so far, the runners are only just starting to produce, we have lots of green tomatoes, no bell peppers as of yet tho, the herb garden is coming along well as are courgettes and butternuts
@TheAllotmentGardenandKitchen
@@lewisgardner1660 I know what you mean we’ve had a lot of rain here too and I’ve had similar luck with my crops this year. Kind regards. Gary
