Who else thought he was going to forget it again by the time he told his boss why he was calling?

These are the Oscar nominations that this deserves: 1- Best short film 2- Best Director 3- Best Actor 4- Best supportive actress (his wife) 5- Best music score 6- Best production design 7- Best cinematography 8- Best sound mixing 9- Best makeup and hairstyling

I think what’s most shocking about this is he found a working telephone booth.

I watched Kevin‘s full length movies and they were funny and entertaining. But I never realized how good of an actor he actually is. These short films are awesome 👏 👍

Plot Twist: The boss couldn’t hear him over the lightning. He just agreed with Kevin so he could hang up. Then Kevin forgot the idea by Monday

And yet again, Kevin shows us why he is the best on RU-vid

The best part about his sketches is that they are so high quality its insane

All of your short films are nothing less than genius. I'm amazed how you're able to produce such great writing, acting, and cinematography in these RU-vid shorts.

The "light bulb over the head" shot at 2:50 was brilliant

This is why I appreciate Kevin. Yeah he’s a big star coming to RU-vid, but he isn’t forcing political or social BS down everyone’s throat. He does what he does best, be extremely entertaining. Thank you for what you do good sir.

God he takes the simplest ideas and plays them out hilariously and extremely artistically. Hes too good for hollywood.

This is one of those movies I'd watch over and over for the amazing soundtrack

Everyone: Great acting, writing, filming, editing, etc. Me: where did he find a payphone?

We've all been there feels so good once you remember.

This short film is perfect, he manipulated the annoyance of not remembering what you were going to say which is something we all experience as human beings and turned it into the audience having eagerness to know what he was going to say, but never being able to know. Double end sword right here.

Open ended story telling just like all his shorts! It's not the destination, it's enjoying the journey with this man! Love you Edna James!

I think at this point Kevin is just living out his fantasy of giving an Oscar-worthy performance.

He still portrays betrayal, cheating, depression, insanity, and obsession flawlessly even while making it all into a skit of a joke. Incredible...

The thing about these short videos is just ... that the quality behind each of these is as high as it would be its own movie and thats just fascinating what passion goes into these RU-vid Clips! I loved you as an actor but now I also love you as an RU-vidr!

That happened to me some years ago and I called my boss and left voice messages over the weekend and on Monday, my enthusiasm was met with indifference and questions about if I was ok.... I kid you not. The corporate world doesn't care about ideas or passion...they think that you are crazy if you put your heart into it...

Its like he took a peek inside my heart, and put what he saw on film. This is exactly how I feel in this situation.

Pure brilliance. I laughed, I cried at the end. Please do the sequel "What Was I Going to Say II" and the French version "L'esprit de L'escalier". Then the documentary where the film itself circulates the film festival tour, draws a massive cult following, then eventually gets nominated for an Oscar and the guy here gets Best Actor in a Small Spoof and when he is invited on stage to give his acceptance speech in front of millions .... we'll you know the rest.

"Ok kevin so were ready to go with the first scene" "Ok lemme just throw this woman's wig on." "Wait.....what?"

When that thought finally comes back to oneself, it' clearly brings down one's stress level & the weight off of one's shoulders feels amazing!
