What was it like to work on an 80s Transformers Commercial? [Toy Guys Talking with Ryan] 

That’s kinda cool that a bunch of GI Joe commercial kid actors were army brats.

You guys should meet an old co-worker/boss. He did a voice for one of the Decepticons. Then did some radio work... Then became a Christian preacher or something. I knew him in radio. He went by the name "Wankus". Radio station was in L.A. Nice video. Good get. Liked, and shared, on Twitter/X. I was a child actor, but never did toy commercials. I was on ST:TNG though.

The standard Deception Headmasters were released in the Netherlands in 87. So im not 100% sure why he didn't see them. I don't know why Hasbro would shoot the commercials overseas when the US was their largest market?

Wow. Seems like the director could have saved alot of time am nerves by giving a 5 minute plan overview before rolling. "Okay kids. We'll have you do x. A light will flash behind you. Its for a special effect, so don't worry. Hold toy like this, crash it together when I say, then drop it. It will fall apart, but dont worry." After that, 2 takes instead of 15. Too bad about the vendors too. I thought it was really cool that you got to do this!
