I build scale models as a hobby and use youtube as background "noise." But with this vid I was always stopping and watching that I got very little work done. This was such a enjoyable watch, from the US.
I’m not complaining but, this video is bits of other videos put together. I’ve seen the individual videos of these subjects. But I do hope you can post something new soon.
My grandmother was born In 1888 in New York, USA. She worked in the thread mills upstate in Cohoes, NY when she was only 8 years old. She said if the thread broke, she would climb inside the machine to tie a knot so it could keep going. She eventually ran 11 machines by herself.

In our time we forget that for most humans, in most parts of the world, in most ages of history, life was painful, hungry and short. What we today would call desperate poverty, was what most people would have called "daily life". In the days of the Roman Empire, being someone's bondslave was preferred to being a "freeman" without a farm or a steady job. These conditions for working children are harsh in our eyes, but for many people back then, it was a preferred way of survival. It was better than a cold hovel and maybe one bowl of porridge a day after working 14 hours on a couple acres of land or a barn or in a cramped living room.
I really appreciate how the British work so hard to preserve their history. Here in the US we don't seem to do so as much. Though of course we have much less history I guess.
@@linatang7037 just about everything is considered racist these days so not any worse than anywhere else. It's a shame this horrible history isn't taught to those millions of folks risking life and limb to get in. We would probably all be happier. Then again considering the innovation provided by the US it would be interesting to know how many centuries we would have had to wait for those discoveries.
32:24 I remember hearing about one scholar who tried to argue that "what is ONE day to god? is it the same as one day for us? it might as well be that one 'day' for god is 100.000 years or more to us mere mortal humans, and we're still on the 7th day", but the church would have none of it and deemed him a heretic for putting anything the church said into any degree of question, for if that part was a "mistranslation" then other parts would be questioned too.
I love seeing Black people in these types of projects because the world may not realize that we love History as well and hardly are black historians included in these types of shows. Love to see it
*_As a culture, the English middle class had an utter disregard for the lives of working class children and their laboring parents. England still celebrates its class system to this very day with impoverished and hungry children right up through the professional middle class and culminating in a fabulously wealthy monarchy._*
The guy with the garden is silly, doesn't he know you can just deny that empirical evidence is real and that it's all a conspiracy and then you've done mental gymnastics rather than physical ones and saved a lot of work.
AI or ai stands for artificial intelligence. I don't know much about it except that people are concerned that it will deprive creative people of jobs. You can Google AI to find out more about it.
Why do commentators have a problem with religion and science or nature? In my understanding, science is about discovery and religion is about respecting the power we do not understand. Even Einstein acknowledged a greater power in the universe.
The only problem with critics of the Bible’s story of creation is the hubris involved with thinking humans know or understand how long a ‘day’ is for God. Everything happened exactly in the correct order
Most people are dressed appropriately for tv - not the lady walking in the garden. She’s dressed as if she’s going to the movies or going to the chippie.
His lack of discretion are the reason that later generations stood up and said no to anti-gay laws. Thank god for people who went out on a limb to live their lives according to their truth.
