Yes, we love to travel and a few years back decided to take advantage for every free day, weekend or week and explore as long as we can score a reasonable deal. We personally love Kara and Nate (very inspirational and beautiful content) and they actually inspired us to share our adventures. @SMaqsoodNYC, thank you for your comment. Yes the airport is a bit pricey (like most airports around the world) and McDonalds is a reasonable option although even at McDonalds, each ketchup packed is €.75 each which caught us by surprise.

We used the Euro as we read that other currencies are not accepted. Mostly credit card and Euro at smaller shops

Great callout. We did went into downtown for the evening and this was a last minute Pre-flight hunger that struck us. We typically don’t eat fast food in our regular lives but make exception when we are traveling esp. in other countries since they have unique menu items. But you have a very fair callout and thank you for your comment 😀 for future, can you recommend a real Dutch experience. We are always open for recommendations

@@KhizEesa In Holland . I would definitely recommend an Indonesian restaurant and order De Rysttafel. It is an assortment of Indonesian dishes. Also go to a Patat Frite place . Dutch version of fast food. Try everything . Hit a real bakery tea shop . And eat as many pastries as you can. And then find a authentic Dutch restaurant. You can usually tell them by being in old fashioned Dutch homes or buildings. I can’t wait to go again. The store the Byenkorf in the middle of Amsterdam has a restaurant on the top floor. But Holland has many places to eat. Very good options for your children too.
