NEW SUBSCRIBER. I'm near 80. Your experiences are reminiscent of my RV experiences of 20 years. This past year, I gave my RV to my daughter's family of 3 grandkids. You have nice content. I probably liked Utah best and those sheep herders. Wisconsin cranberry farms were fun along with the Cheese. Camping in the Michigan County parks right on Lake Michigan was awesome. I liked the cherries too. Glacier Park was beautiful. Alaska interesting. Oh my. Eaglegards...

they pulled over as its supposed to stop your windshield/car from being chipped/damaged by the hail. driving into ice pellets at 60mph is not a good idea... i guess it depends on the severity of the storm but its easier to pull over before it becomes an emergency to do so. i suspect you are in a state in tornado alley where people are more familiar with big hail.

Sounds like my drive yesterday here in Northern Illinois hail, wind, lightning, flooding, trees and branches snapping while I faithfully drove my transit bus through it. In all this I still had a passenger standing in it all to board my bus.

The big fancy RV’s are mainly driven by retirees and elderly who often need to sit while bathing. Hence the teak benches. Should have been sealed. I will have to make a list to inspect shower seals and check for mold, mildew, and leaks monthly. Thanks for the tips

I searched for GE Microwave Door Handle Replacement, and for some reason this video was in the feed, Actually, the video where you got kicked out was in the feed, but I enjoyed that so much I navigated my way here. I've been talking about retiring and possibly getting an RV/Camper and traversing these united states and seeing all that she offers, so I'm glad I came across this channel. I went to Tiffin to get an idea (your RV is gorgeous) of the cost and different models, and it is so exciting, lol. I hope to retire in approx 2 years time.

Can’t believe all the issues you’ve had with a Tiffin. I had a 2001 Allegro Bay 34’ for several years and only drove it 14k or so miles but sold it with 44k before c19. It wasn’t as shiny due to Fl sun but fit and finish seemed way better than what you seem to have. I think Tiffin owes you guys more than a pat on the back for your patience with the hassles. I have friends with new other brands and all have had similar problems….I would have expected more from Tiffin though. Safe Travels 🇺🇸

I guess this channel is why folks buy Prevost and Newell. And don't forget the cost of a Prevost is the difference between what you buy it for, subtract depreciation and then what you sell if for. Often very reasonable indeed.

16:00 Those seats come in handy when you are trying to wash your ankle and just can't bend over that far or balance on one foot. My parent's bathroom shower at their house has a built-in seat or step that they can use for that. I use those too whenever I come across a bathroom that has one, hotels or relative's houses. It's quite nice sometimes. It's like when you need to tie your shoe and put your foot up on something to make it easier to reach.

In the bay where the pipes are coming over the wall going inside I put some cable loam over the wall to protect the wires and pipes from future issues.

I stayed at the same Ho-Chunk RV park last year and have reservations again this year for my second trip to Fall Ford Fest Event. I really like the park and the event is pretty awesome. Enjoyed a wonderful fire and the facilities were nice. My channel has some video from last years car show.

I live in Illinois and only stopped when pulling my trailer through Colorado when all of the trucks did. High winds and hail.

You always get much better vision in a semi or bus even in snow or rain! It is much better visibility the higher above the road the driver sits. That why the say snow if falling. And the blow bye from wake of cars is far less. Ice or hail is like a bullet at 70mph especially with todays soft steel and aluminum parts. Hail is hard on trim around windows and hard to replace and really stands out when dented. That is why the underpasses get full.

Just discovered your channel. I'm a fan. FYI: in the rain, there are many reasons why some drive super slower than others. 1: They're just scared to death and probably don't belong behind the wheel in the first place. 2: Their tires are substandard and subject to hydroplaning at the slightest amount of moisture on the roads. 3: Their visibility, for some reason, isn't as good as other vehicles. Every windshield is shaped differently and reflects outside light differently. 4: Their Climate Control isn't adjusted properly to prevent the windshield and other windows from fogging up. These are just a few and it could be these or any combination of reasons why motorists drive the way they do during certain weather situations. Therefore, the only Safe thing a traveler can do is allow more than the necessary space between yourself and the vehicle in front of you, keep your eyes moving and checking your mirrors often, knowing what's around you at all times in case you need to make a sudden lane change. I hope this info has been helpful. Great job on the videos!!! 😎😎😎

Be careful in that rainy stuff I drive a tractor and trailer for a living was going through Santa Rosa New Mexico on 25 July 22 and I was hit by lightning it shredded my CB antenna and just made mincemeat of the electronic control units somethings worked some things didn’t but I was disabled there after or shall I say my truck was still trying to digest it weeks later but gotta keep on trucking just be careful in that weather

In Las Vegas a lot people will not drive in the rain due to the oils on the pavement making it very slick.

The 6060 aluminum plastic wheel well hanger bracket will last alot longer than the stupidly cheap Non engineered pot metal soup kitchen like Chinese KO Oem bracket that fails on the first big bump. And these things have a msrp of half a million dollars for most everything to break or fail or almost kill you in a freak accident this make is just a cheap as all freightliner garbage should check out Japanese made RV's and see a huge difference in build quality and reliability standard.

If you decide to stop overnight and no rest area or RV park available, can you stop at a Walmart or a shopping center parking lot? Will you be asked to leave or bothered?

5:30 I am a route delivery driver, and I can't believe cars are in the left lane with their flashers going. That is incorrect. They are supposed to be in the right lane. If I had been you guys, I would have immediately gotten into the left lane, especially after coming up on cars that had pulled off onto the shoulder. I got scared a few times that I was going to witness a crash. I don't know what driving schools are teaching, but a lot of that first few minutes was dangerous at best.

How on earth is a million dollar motor coach so poorly constructed? Is this normal? I would be so fed up with this company.

I spent 41 years at UPS driving tractor trailers. Half that time was spent running cross country. We did Los Angeles to Dallas twice a week. LA to Greensboro NC, round trip took 4 days. Ive driven in a lot of bad weather, people stop like that to avoid hail damage. The damage increases if you are moving fast. It was not uncommon to see people stop under overpasses, stopped dead in both lanes to protect their cars. You come around a corner at interstate speeds and there is a parking lot in front of you. If you get in bad weather, look around at what the big rigs are doing. They drive in that crap all the time, Im surprised more people dont mimic them. If they are only doing 30 mph in the snow or ice there is a reason for it.

I have a 2014 Tuscany with constant repairs but I hear that’s normal with all RV’s… The “flashers” in the rain drive me nuts. Especially when they forget they have them on and suddenly change lanes on you! Then, act like YOU’RE in the wrong?! Safe Travels.

That's crazy! You deserve to be upset! Those Tiffins aren't cheap. These manufacturers need to be called out. Other than that I hope you both enjoy the RV life. We hope to hit the road for more than just a weekend in a year or two.
