So get this.....it's crazy...hold on to your 🧦😂.....we are a family of 6 with one on the way.... happy happy joy joy....we are on a very tight income and even tighter with all the craziness in the world 🌍....ok so my husband wanted to splurge on the kiddos this year and get a nintendo switch ( mama is not a fan and we do not have any gaming items in our house) . I finally agreed to it as long as we got a good deal. Which we did 🥰. So my oldest saw it and was excited 😆. Then today she told me.... Mom I know the switch was a lot of money is there still time to take it back and try to book a trip to a cabin in the mountains for a couple of days to get out of the house 🥺😳😥😥😥....I said that I will check into it.... OMG my poor kiddo just wants to get out of the house and make memories....got to love 😘 her for that💕
I love that you get them books. I bought tons of books for my kids when they was little. I always told my kids there was all kinds of adventures to discover in books.
i love how you are so grounded with your kids , they appreciate what they have , when i was little we got a doll and a socking and we loved it , we was very lucky that dad had a gd job so we never went without food or clothes and still got to spend time with dad when he took us to work with him
A nice gift for your kids while young would be *personalised childrens books* - a type of learning book that can be both fun and educational for young and developing kids
I enjoyed your video! At first I thought you were only getting them 1 item to wear, 1 book to read, and 2 wants.... I’m glad that you spoiled them a bit with multiple clothes and books each... I don5 think you went overboard, I think you did just right... and you put so much thought into the gifts for each kid - I love when parents do that... rather than just buying a bunch of cheap toys from Walmart, etc because it’s for the right age... I think all parents should know what their kids like and are into all of the time...and they should tailor their gifts for each child... I just love being a mom and I love seeing other moms who clearly love being moms! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas morning....💕
Oh btw, I just love that you encourage reading every year! Growing up, I didn’t get a lot of gifts, but I always got a couple of books for my birthday, Christmas, etc... plus I used to spend my babysitting money on books as a young teen...

@@FieldsFullHouse Awesome! I recommend any books by Karen Witemeyer. She writes about the 19th century and is another one of my favorite authors. ❤️ Melanie Dickerson is also a great writer. She sort of combines classic fairytales with history and it’s amazing! Most of her books take place during the 15th century. I’m sure Taylor would love them as well. 😄📚
Love the category idea!! Curious - does Santa visit your house? And if so how do you work that in to what each child gets? My husband and I grew up with very different “Santa experiences” and now are trying to figure out what we’re going to do with our children. Love hearing how different families do Christmas!
Thanks! Nathan grew up not doing Santa, I grew up doing Santa. How we handle it is, all the gifts are from us. But we tell them the story of Saint Nicholas. Some kids have “believed in santa” and just think that Santa brought the gifts... but we don’t play it up so to speak. We just go with it.

I’m a janette oke horse fan too! I got a few outfits for our 5mo old because I got rid of most of my clothes because I thought we were done with babies- and he’s in 9mo clothes now so it was needed. Also we recycle toys and gifts especially for babies first bday and Christmas we usually give them the riding toy at first bday and a fabric Noah’s ark at Christmas- both have lasted for 5 kids so far so that’s pretty helpful budget and stuff-wise. I have saved some toys too for gifts for the babies. Kinley really doesn’t need anything so I didn’t buy anything for her. I know my mom and in laws will though! I’m like she likes diapers! 🤣 And love Janette Oke!!!
I love the craft gift set. Dollar Tree Crafters Square has some pink finger tip things to keep you from burning fingers. Might be something good to add to Miley’s gift. All the gifts look awesome. They will enjoy them. Sometimes I think we parents get more excited picking things out than they getting them. 😂

I love it! We did a want, a need, wear, read and something to do because they’re always outside and needed new outdoor toys. So much easier this year since I had guidelines.

We love everything that has Camo on it too , that’s why my channel name has Camo in it & the Bows is for my grandkids ( girls) they wears big hair bows in their hair and we love everything pink and purple Camouflaged! We was sitting around one day looking for T-shirts online and we seen my picture on my channel . We love hunting deer & we loved the saying so I said that’s it, Camo & Bow’s Homestead! It started to be Bluegrass homestead but I seen they are one already so then , I almost went with The Bailey Homestead but this one sounded better. So it is what it is! 😂 Hope you followed me on this. 😆
One year I ordered some stuff on Amazon and it didn't look like it was going to get here in time. I called Amazon and they refunded me the money and told me to keep it when it finally showed up and let me order something to replace with a quicker ship time! Prob too late to do this now... but good to know for future reference.

Thank you! It is so easy to overdo it! I bought too much for some kids and put it away for another day! Lol! So we don’t have a set budget per kid. But we try and have 1000-1200 set aside for everything ( and that’s everything not just kids presents. I should add it up and see if we went over!) 🤣 Nathan and I don’t do much for each other some years either.
Hi I just had to comment this to you - I had a daughter named Ashlyn who died in an accident at age 12. My cousin had a baby boy this year and named him Asher after my daughter. It's cool to see another boy with that name 😊
Looks like your kids are going to have such a great Christmas! Fun video! This year we decided to gift them an experience instead. We are going skiing together!! And so, I just got the kids each a book to unwrap. That's it! And then we did a gift exchange between all the kids...so they get to give one gift and receive one more. 🙂

Gotta do what works for your family! Our girls have a text app but only works with WiFi. We’ve considered getting a phone for the kids to share when they are out... we will prob do that soon.
Our kids are getting iPods this year! They’re basically a phone.. I just chose Apple because I like the ease of parental controls. I think it’s better to teach them to use technology young rather than hand them a hand as an older teenager or adult with no clue how to use it safely
People should not be critical at all. They are your babies. I always had a phone for my kids. I want to make sure they can call me and that they are safe.

Those 2 books you got for addison are called cozy mysteryies they are really good murder mysteries for kids to read because they are not to graphic or serous and very cute mysteries while not being to graphic

Hi I came from a family of nine children so my parents did similar things I just thought it might help now for you are you aware of the Ross's sale that they do in January cuz of the store loves to start fresh for the year so they have a big Sail On holiday things and year old items and I go by Department's starting to mark them down you cannot ask the sales associate but starting January 24th they have three weeks to get the old stings out and anything in the clearance racks or departments as they Monday to Monday they mark them down if you see them knocking them down again do not ask sales associate about the pricing they will tell you no and stop what they're doing but you can get anything as clearance for $5 down to $0.49 check it out accidental information found

Depending on how small the converse are, they might actually still be fitting her better than you think! My first pair of converse fit me from 6th grade until 9th or 10th lol The canvas really stretches!!
We aren’t doing much this year. I got him a few shirts. I know he got me a little something. We are hopeful to have a weekend away in January or February. I said let’s save our gift money towards our trip.
