Huge by Digia! Very cool to see! Although a big downer that a botched tire seems to have settled the championship. Was hoping for a more exciting championship decider race in Valencia.

Sad that it could be potentially be settled on Saturday next week instead of a guaranteed Sunday finale. I can't quite remember if the Bridgestones were this subject to quality variance, but I want to say they were. They also tended to have a narrower window; remember all those cold-tire highsides back in the late 2000s? Still sucks for us to see and have to deal with. That Mapping 8 signal was the best troll of the MotoGP era, easily. Top freakin' class lol.

Pecco can just cruise to the title now. Luca can be #1 at Honda, rather than #6 at Ducati. And even if mapping 8 was to hold back, Diggi wasn't having any of that, Ducati have dumped him.

I kinda think Ducati would just be happy that their bike wins regardless. It's not SO many points that I think they'd ask for something like that while Fabio Di Giannantonio is busy riding to vindicate himself and prove he should be in MotoGP.

So is there anything to the possibility that Diggia up until recently was having to follow certain guidelines/rules by the team and/or Ducati that maybe didn't suit his style or something which is why he didnt do so well earlier, and now since hes being released he was free to drive his own style and thus was able to do much better? Or is it really as simple as him getting released push him to a do or die situation? And despite Diggia himself explaining it to us that mapping8 meant whatever, I personally dont see how we are supposed to believe it.. to those who heard the explanation, it only brings more questions! We are really supposed to believe that mapping8 really meant: 5 laps left, pass pecco now? Just how were they planning for that situation??? Ok so then what did mappings 0 - 10 all mean? What situations would have called for them? Just smells fishy
