The jetted tub is the best thing! This is our second time returning to the resort and we booked it just for that!

There certainly are people that enjoy them. We have only used a jetted tub at a timeshare resort once. Do you do anything special to clean it ahead of time? Just wondering how clean they are since I am not sure how often they get used. Thanks for watching!

As much as I've enjoyed Harbour Lake and Grande Vista this summer I cannot wait to be HOME at Cypress Harbour in 2.5 weeks!!

Great video. My family stayed there this summer and I agree with everything that you said. We loved it, especially the water features! Excellent review! PS- My bed was NOT comfortable.

Yeah, I have found the bed in the master bedroom to be hard as a rock. The hardest bed of any timeshare or hotel I have ever stayed in. Other than that, the resort is great. Thanks for watching!

I prefer a garden/soaking tub without jets. I wonder about the restaurants there. How were they in your opinion? Was breakfast offered?

Thank you for the detailed review. Any tips/guidance on which building or section should we request for when making a booking? We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids.

The resort is pretty big and a lot will depend on if you want to be close to the bigger pools or the activities area. You can take a look at the resort map linked below. We were seriously considering this resort until we saw that shower in the master bath and the small second bedroom. I don't think it would work for 4 adults.Thanks for the helpful information on the size of the second bedroom. You don't always pick up these things looking at the floor plan on the Marriott site.

Yeah, the master bath shower is very disappointing and the second bedroom is small. I would still say it is an okay resort for four adults as long as one couple is okay sleeping in a queen size bed in the second bedroom. The rest of the villa is quite nice and spacious. It seems to be a popular resort for couples trips. Glad you found it helpful and thanks for watching!

Thanks for sharing about the 2nd bedroom being small. I have 3 large kids and I don't think CH will do for us.

Yeah, unfortunately Cypress Harbour isn't ideal for a family with three kids. It could work with one kid in the bed, one on the pull out loveseat in the second bedroom and another on the pull out sofa in the living room. That said, there are better timeshare options in Orlando that would work better. Do consider Grande Vista as one possible option. @@DestinationTimeshare thanks for your reply and thanks for these videos! Yes, we stayed at the Grande Vista 2 years ago and loved it. I'm doing an Encore package so I'll check the cost of upgrading from CH or to Grande Vista or see how much getting a 3 bedroom villa at CH would be. I'm glad I found your channel! We've only been owners for about 6 years and moved to the East Coast 4 years ago, so I'm looking forward to checking out your other videos for fun places to go! Thanks

@@DestinationTimeshare We have stayed at Grande Vista five times and it is great. Last time we had a 3 bedroom and they gave us $100 dollar gift card and a free night for listening to their timeshare presentation. We didn't purchase but we never really got a hard sell and they still gave us the free night which was close to $300 dollars.

How does this resort compare to Grande Vista or Harbour Lake (esp. for a family w/ a 1 year old and 3 year old)? I'm gonna go watch the Harbour Lake video now, too.

Cypress Harbour is much more laid back and quiet. Grande Vista is a huge resort with lots of pools and activities. Harbour Lake certainly is geared toward young children with the waterslide, splash park and pirate ship features. The pools are smaller there and that is one reason we didn't like Harbour Lake, but it is great for young children. Thanks for watching!

We stayed at both with small kids. Harbour Lake has more zero entry pools, a giant splash pad, and a pirate ship. Harbour Lake also felt like less walking was required. Cypress Harbour has an amazing activity center that isn’t currently open with puzzles, games, and toys. Harbour Lake has more space in the guest room and a neat bench for the kitchen table.

@@leighs3439 Harbour Lake certainly is a great choice with kids. So much there for the young ones. We aren't a fan of the bench at the dining room table at Harbour Lake or other resorts where they have this. We certainly love Cypress Harbour and not having kids, we will definitely stay there over Harbour Lake. Thanks for watching!

@@leighs3439 Cypress has recently added a splash pad but not as large as Harbour Lake. HL is definitely the best if you have younger children. And yes, the second bedroom at Cypress is cramped. I would not go there with two couples because someone would get the short end of the stick with that tiny second bedroom compared to the master.

I agree with you on the guest bedroom. If you ever stay at Royal Palms, the guest bedroom is very similar. Their both older resorts so that might explain. I also agree on the big tube in the master. In all the years if been a member, I only got used twice. Redesign the space and create a nice large walk-in shower with multiple heads and a bench.

We have stayed at Royal Palms, but it was for only one night so I don't really remember the second bedroom. We did like the villas over at Imperial Palms with the 3BR units. Lots of space. Though the second and third bedroom were a little small also. At least the second bedroom did have a sofa there. I think it may have just been the design back then. Larger living space in the kitchen, dining and living room. Thank you so much for watching David!

@@slothbros7607 I guess it depends. Two of the phases; Courts and Falls, only have twin beds in the second bedroom. The other phases have two double beds. Some of those phases have guest bedrooms that are larger but unfortunately Cypress Harbour and Royal.Palms second bedrooms only have a single queen bed in them and are very small also.

Occupancy at Orlando resorts is still very low during the current global situation. Probably not even 25% occupancy. Thanks for watching!

We have only had food one time at the resort from the bar/grill. It was just okay. Nothing special, pretty much the standard resort options at fine dining prices.
