When I first saw the title of this video, I was intrigued because I didn’t think it would be something you would do for exactly the same reasons you listed for not continuing with the list. You are very intentional with your purchases. You’ve helped me remember quality is more important than quantity. I’m trying to get better at not making impulse purchases. Rather than a no buy list I have a list of things that I would like for the year. I find that it is much smaller amd will allow me to not impulse purchase…or at least try not to 😊. I ❤ gadgets and technology but I never got into the Apple watch because I like traditional timepieces and it’s part of my jewelry stack. I don’t have any vintage or luxury pieces yet but that is one of the things on my buy list for the year.

I buy intentionally too but some things are priced just right to easily treat oneself. Lipsticks - no more this year. The ones I have are such similar shades too, don’t need them, not going to buy them. Aiming to fully use up 3 at least. Adding in no designer shoes - possibly shoes in general - and sneakers from any brand 🙅🏻‍♀️.

I am not buying physical books , since I live in an apartment and well. I have no room. When you start to put books in bins and stack one on top of the other. You have a problem 😭😭😭. I will of course buy ebooks, thank God there’s an unlimited storage capacity 😂😂😂. I’m a mess. As for clothes and shoes, when I buy I remove. I have a friend who’s children are growing faster than any ones wallets can accommodate . They ( pre teens , teens) get my “old clothes” which aren’t old. So I don’t feel too bad when I buy. Only the statement classic , pieces that will last for the next 20 years will not get chucked..they won’t appreciate those high quality goods 😝😂😭🫣. The sweaters ,sometimes the cute dress that you thought you would wear multiple times, you wind only wearing once. The pre teens / teens will never want for clothes. I am tall , they are growing like weeds. It just works 😊

I am a Louis Vuitton Agenda/Desk Planner fanatic, I am embarrassed to even put the amount and various prints I have. There is not anything I am not buying but I am being very intentional with purchases. I have been going through my clothes and jewelry and getting rid of too many things that were unworn. I look at some of the things and wonder who was going to wear them! They weren’t my style at all. SMH. And it’s fine to change your mind. No judgement here 😂😂😂

Boots are my "platform heels". I am not buying any more boots 🙄 AFTER I buy a few styles I am missing in my collection. .😂 I already bought 2 pairs this month. Two more on the way...but, I am trying to make those the last ones for the year. But, you can't wear just any boot with certain outfits. I did donate or retire a few older pairs, so I need to replenish. Certain dress styles need a certain boot. 👢 Am I right or am I RIIIIGHT???

Right there with you with skin care/body care. Until the hoard is diminished significantly, we’re on ban island. Books, I love books but i tend to be very considered with my choices. I rarely buy them, maybe it’s the ex-librarian in me, but if it’s new I’ll just put my name down on the wait list. It’ll be my turn eventually and then after reading it I feel I need to own it will I proceed with purchasing it.
