I miss my Mom so much, y'all. Smh. It has not gotten better for me. I cope. I was at the library the other day. They had a raffle for a mug. I won and I was thinking man, my Mom is going to love this mug. I walked to my car with my mug in my hand, I sat there in my car and said, "Dam, Mom, I miss you." It's been over 2 years.

🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾I can totally relate to you missing your mom. I lost my mom five years ago and I still reach for the phone to call her or I too see items and say uhm my momma would like to have this or let me tell her such and such is on sale. Missing a parent is such a huge process to deal with!!

❤️‍🩹 My heart! I know this feeling all too well. Whenever something funny happens, when im getting ready in the morning, whenever im driving, good or bad news, I always want to call her. I finally disconnected her cell phone and that broke my ENTIRE heart. Im not much help during this time, but know that I'm with you. Email me when you can, we should keep in touch offline.

There is a group called Motherless Daughters that sometimes has meetups in different cities. I am a motherless daughter (lost my Mom several years ago), and I have attended MD events in the past. You are so right. No one gets it until it happens to them. In the years after my Mom passed, what I did is that I would schedule my overseas vacations to coincide with the date of her passing. It helped a lot and made me form new memories to associate with the date. My Mom always made it known through specific signs that she was with me -- which is something she had promised me the day before she passed. 😇 Take it one day at a time. If it is any consolation, know that it does get better. One day, you will get to a place where you have more laughs and smiles than tears when thinking about your mere. Btw, I would love to attend your "Motherless Daughters" dinner. ❤

It will be 26 years this Mother’s Day for me and I often ironically chuckle about how much my mother would be embarrassed by how sad I still am about her being gone.

Bonjour darling, I feel your pain. I have no parents or grandparents alive and I truly miss them and it hurts. I trust in the word of God and that brings me peace amidst my sadness. I’m holding on to my faith in God’s promises and I know that I’ll fellowship with my loved ones again. In the meantime I’m doing my very best to stay connected to my heavenly father , resting in the comfort of knowing that God is, and God is faithful to heal and restore joy peace and happiness. God’s love will conquer and perfect all things that concern me. Be blessed in Jesus name🙏🏾

I truly understand how you feel. My mom has been gone over 35 years ai still miss her dearly and think of her often. I believe grief is something you learn to live with, sometimes never getting over it and just experiencing it at different levels ❤️👏🏾

Sis as heavy as my heart is for you and the loss of your mom, I could not help but laugh as you shared what you expect of your husband if the creek rises. You are hilarious but I know you meant every bit of it!! I hope you feel better soon and the heaviness of depression is gone. I understand completely because I loss my mom about the same time you loss yours and it has been a journey of emotions. I love you sis! ❤️💕

I don’t have parents anymore either, but I had them in my life longer than some others. What I miss most is wanting to share certain things that come up & or reminiscing on wisdom giving. We cleaned the house & washed the dishes, still today I refuse to take out the garbage/trash, (that was always my brothers job growing up) shovel the snow or putting air in the tires. W/10 kids in the family, I often asked my mom to buy a dishwasher & her response was ALWAYS… “What for? I have 10 of them”. However, it took me many years before I started pumping my own gas, but only when I am alone.otherwise. By the way Jessie, I love your RED MAC! I had the YELLOW one since 10/22. YAY!

Jessie, I was on my phone looking to see if you were on & starting watching u on IG. Out the corner of my eyes, I look up & saw your likeness on my TV & my jaw dropped. I doubled looked & said wait a min. looking at your white face, your hair tie & hair as my eyes darted around. I seriously did a couple more takes & asked, what is happening? I was afraid to read the thumbnail, but when I did … I finally shut my mouth. lol
