Interesting video! I haven't read NKS, but the way you talk about exploring logic through algorithms (or rules) rather than through numbers and specifically the continuum makes me wonder if we could be teaching logic* to those whose are less numerically minded in this way. *teaching a subject which develops logical thinking. We have philosophy for those who avoid the concrete, maths for those who like the numerical, but theoretical computer science hasn't seemed to have taken hold in early stages of education (although maths is mostly taught through algorithmic methods in early stages so perhaps that's why - the gap isn't deemed big enough to build something in).
Could you do an idiots guide to the Ruliad? Could you please explain these towers you mentioned? How can meta-maths exist outside the Ruliad? Isn't it the sum total of all rules? Please forgive my questions sir !!!!
I get that, prior to NKS, we spent millennia building a math/logic based on our collective and particular perceptions of our world; but I’m now wondering what our view of the world was like before we had, what we might call, the extended relations and relationships of society, and before we had formal languages or other structural constraints❓ Have you got any view on this thinking… BTW, to me it is so satisfying and amazing to hear from someone who is utterly unafraid to deeply study the obvious aspects of existence that many others ignore because it doesn’t fit with orthodoxy and prevailing paradigms… Thank you, and here’s hoping is continues❗️👏☘️🐝
I want to ask something: 1D cellular automata. Can we select only one element from 8 rule sets separately for t=0,2,4,6,8... and t=1,3,5,7,9.. such as 111=0 in even steps, 111=1 in odd steps.....

That's important development for perhaps a right path in scientific culture... but i can't stop feeling guilty of people inventing things to make the few intelligent people around occupied while the human being is falling apart with decreasing intelligence and bad genetics.
