Just looks up what mechanical engineers learn and you will see various branches of science and math which scientists need a firm understanding of. I will agree that Trudeau isn't very good at putting his ideas into words, but he obviously has high intuition, so he certainly isn't a dummy. Intuition is the greatest factor for high intelligence (Elon Musk has very high intuition). All the greatest minds in history had very strong intuition, which allowed them to see the "big picture". It seems like conservatives are more "details" people and not so good at seeing the big picture. It is important to see the details, but at least as important to see the big picture. There is actually a physical difference in brain wiring between liberals and conservative and neurosciences (with a brain scan) can predict with over 76% accuracy whether a person is liberal of conservative. The other 24% are likely the centrists who share equal views from both sides. People don't choose, rather they are attracted to their natural mindset. You might want to look into it, because the more conservative a person is, the more activity they have from their limbic system (lizard mind where "fight or flight" comes from) and less activity in higher cognitive functions (logic and reason). The opposite is true for more liberal minded people. This is why far right wing people tend to be very fearful.They don't have much help from their "human" (most recent part of the brain to evolve) brain to calm down their most ancient lizard brain. The reptilian mind sees everything as a threat and only the cortex can discern real threats from perceived threats. Being an extreme right wing and despising left wing mentality is nothing to be proud of.
