maybe if there's a special kind of game that requires a new engine instead of making a brand new engine they could just use AI for phycics. but that is a really interesting thing bc a lot of really great ideas never make it bc there is no game engine that can run the idea.
Honestly, generative AI could possibly help open world games with giving players real impact and choice in narrative. What if you killed the main villain in the first hour? How does the narrative change because of actual player choice? In sports games, when you’re going through a season of play, what if the simulated broadcast actually talks about your team’s performance and have pundits give their bulls and bears on your next game? That’s what I wanna see. This might not happen for another 50 years though if we ever
yeah game developers have tried to do that in many games but in the end you just get disappointed bc there is no life in the world. they have tried to do that in games where there is like an infinite world or game with hundreds of planets. and they result in just being planets that have been added without a purpose. when it comes to narrative i haven't seen that being implemented at all just for the nerrative. or at least i don't think it has.. honestly speaking I can confidently say that this will be done in less then 10 years but the games that will have this feature in the beginning will fail really bad bc it won't be perfected in atleast 30-50 Years but that's just an opinion though. thanks for leaving the comment.
it has been here for many years now but it still has a long way to go. I mean just think where it was 2 years ago and where it is now. it is true that it has existed for a long time but it still isn't being used to it's full potential.
I would gladly welcome a complete overhaul towards character animation. I mean it's kinda funny when you have ray tracing in your game while in-game movement looks like something out of South Park. The low sample rate of character animation has been a pain in the ass for some time. Even in 2024 in some games we have animation locked to just 30 fps. It's super jarring when the game is running at a 120. I remember a while back playing AC Syndicate, the frame rate being well over 60 fps and the female character's cloth animations were locked at just 24 fps...it looked really bad.
maybe the gpu in the future will find a way to make the frame rate of everything in the game the same. i guess only time will tell but that is definitely something that will make games a lot more enjoyable and a lot more immersive.
These gamers keep missing the point. Nvidia cards aren't good because of dlss, ray tracing, or some other stuff related to gaming. It's fucking CUDA. These gamers i tell you, never look beyond video games. Had AMD had better software support. It will be just like nvidia. The extra cash you pay is basically the license fee.
@@user-wz4mx2nz3y you got a point there. you are right and I think one other big thing is that it just gives you some piece of mind. there are a lot of videos in the internet where people talk about other GPU companies making GPU's that keep crashing even high end GPU's. so people just go with Nvidia they know it will perform and it will run games and programs alike bc let's not forget gpu's are not just for gaming and having glitches from time to time when you are working and losing your progress can be a bit annoying. so i think that might be another reason.
It would be better to pause every now and then. You don't have to compensate for not being a native speaker. Some of the best RU-vidrs are not native speakers. So take it easy😅
