i feel like they should make it so that competition ships like the razer and m50 can have their wings detached and kept in scu storage during transit like formula 1 racing cars can today.

Honestly, I'm just happy it fits an Ursa rover. We might not have an escape pod, but we can float in space in a rover until help arrives.

Thanks for putting in the effort to awkwardly cram in so many vehicles. I doubt I'll ever need that many ground vehicles shoved back there, but it's good to know lol.

dang, was really banking on the razor fitting without damaging the ship. I had planned to use the Razor "Stealth" to scout enemy territories in order to find juicy data targets.

Use a nox with stealth components and weapons turned off. Or on ground a Tumbril RC ranger running on batteries with powerplant off.

Sorry these were recorded over the course of a live stream in a very buggy PTU and I decided to skip the bikes because more than enough can obviously fit and bikes just suck right now getting them in and put is a pain. Having more than 2-3 is not practical if you plan on surviving the task. Anyway sorry if I had more time I'd have recorded it certainly.

Pretty cool to watch. I just got one and I used an Ursa to do an eviction mission but when I got back to port the ursa was damaged. I’ve now got a cyclone TR and a rock. I figure that will be useful for added gameplay in it. What a lovely ship to fly! I intentionally blocked the elevator with the Rock and use the “hidden” entrance to get in and out.

You can spawn the Ballista on New Babbage (need to turn the missiles through 180 to get out the garage) or on Levski. Good look getting it into the MSR though!

It's funny I used to think how much of a gimmick it is to put a ship in your cargo hold like that breaking off the wings. But this may actually be a legit strat once salvage and repair are in.

If they ever make it where you can fold wings whenever you want that Archimedes would probably go even with gear down but, after your in the bay past the door already which means you'd have to raise gear before leaving the bay

i think the biggest thing to fit in there comfortably is a ursa rover anything bigger is just being silly. i know you put 11 golf carts in it but i think 9 is a safer number, for cyclones/ROCs i think 2 is a safe number, as for hover bikes i think 4 is a safe number(you can fit more but things bounce around on their own), the ballista does not fit, no snubs fit safely. I recommend people to go with safe fits as when we get the ability to spawn ships/vehicles in other ships it will be the safe fit not the max stuffing fit you do on a turkey for thanksgiving. nice vid

it seemed like the p-52 might have had an easier time if after getting the nose in diagonally to retract gear and finish in diagonally. could a be a trick of the camera though

You're trying to fly them into the bay with the gear down. I think you'd have been a little more successful if you'd lowered the gear after inside or not at all.

Yeah but if the gear is up the wings are out making fitting impossible without damaging the ship. Primary objective is getting the ship in undamaged. If that's not possible I do what I did with the arrow and just brute force it.

It's so sad that they can't make this stuff just a little bigger. The cargo bay could fit most of these fighters and snubs with ease but the ramp and door are just a bit to small to allow them in. Would be cool if you could load at least one other small ship in the Mercury and many other ships that almost are capable to do so...

LMAO - the criteria for FITS is "close the door", but NOT breaking wings off things is not part of the criteria. - TECHNICALLY if you chop up a Freelancer or Cutlass into tiny parts; you could in fact find enough space to fit those entire ships inside an MSR as well by the same logic as the Razor "fitting".

I think we tried all the cyclone variants. Someone flipped one and we had to start over in a new MSR. The Pisces is a no go tried it yesterday... DId not fit... No wings to break off... Entire Hull broke instead... BOOM!

Haven't played since 3.8, and I noticed they changed how the defender's singe (guns? Cannons?) Look when firing this makes me sad. I remember they didn't feel like they were consistently hitting anything especially small ships, and I also remember seeing that at one point they were totally broken. Do they work correctly now/ are they better than they were?

@@loadmastermoe I believe that there's a few different box sizes for vehicles and I believe that g12 comes in at the same as the cyclone. Might be slightly wider and what not but will fit into whatever that's supposed to.

I normally like his videos, but this one wasted too much time on trying to fit things that need to be half destroyed to get in. Would've enjoyed it more if he had just focused on what'll fit flat on the floor, and allow you to close the cargo ramp, without trying to exploit damage states.

Yeah, but other people do that so I put my twist on it. And cramming things inside of ships was a blast on stream. Ill' try to organise it better to make sure the practical ships are first so if you don't enjoy the cramming you can just move on to another video.
